This company is a joke. They do not really want your business. Don't bother giving them your phone number and expect them to return your call. I know cars are in short supply but they could at least act as if they cared and tell you that you are probably not going to get a car. Even if the economy improves I will try to avoid doing business with these folks.
I made a car rental reservation in April for Enterprise's Glendale-Mariposa location to pick-up on May 29 and I only found out that morning that this location wasn't even open that day. I was never notified of any changes or any issues with my reservation. My online account listed it as a current/upcoming reservation the whole time. the customer service that i received was very unacceptable . indeed i had placed the reservation 3 weeks in advance a nice car should have been available. instead i was giving a heavily filled car smoke and burnt floorboards that was of the size of a cantaloupe . and i was told that i will have to wait for another vehicle by an employee named ****. which he doesn't know the time frame. so as i submitted a complaint via corporate they swapped out the ****** camry for a ***** malibu with extreme shaking when goes up to speed. ... read more
This is specifically for the ghetto location at *********************************************************************************** 89032...They do not inspect the vehicles mechanically when they are returned for any safety problems they only wash them and send them back out for re-renting and this is a total safety issue. The enterprise rent a car at *******************************************************. Did not pick me up I had to Uber to the location they wouldnt answer there phones. I called the customer service number they would just patch me three to the store that wouldnt answer the phone. Ive emailed called its been 16 days no response from anyone. I was told I would be reimbursed for my Uber ride that hasnt happened. Do not use enterprise they will not pick you up.
I reserved a particular class car one month in advance with confirmation so that I could drive my disabled son out of state comfortably for surgery and back home. I went to pick up my car and it's not there. I was offered an upgraded vehicle but was told I'd have to pay ***** vs the **** I was originally quoted! They did not honor an email reservation/price quote that they sent me when I went to the counter at the Reno/Tahoe Airport to pick up my car. They tried to charge me $200 dollars more than what the quote was in the email, then they triggered a fraud alert on my credit card so I could not rent a car anywhere else with that credit card. So their quotes basically cannot be trusted.

At the time of rental, the amount of the estimated cost of the rental plus $200 will be processed on a credit or debit card, and the funds will not be available for use until after the vehicle has been returned. Additional authorizations from your account will be obtained to cover the cost of the rental charges. Enterprise is not responsible for any overdraft fees incurred.
Enterprise has lost me as a customer over $125. I turned in a car on a Saturday about 15 minutes after the location closed and was charged for 3 days even though I called customer service and told them the car was returned and they reassured me that I would only be charged for the day. Called the general manager of the Kansas City branch where I rented the car to be told that, that was their policy and there was nothing he could do about it! 10 years I have been a customer of enterprise!
