Went to pick the car up and mentioned the reservation and they said they had nothing available. Later called the number again to see if they would say there is car availability and was told that yes, they had cars. I had a car reserved for this morning. It was supposed to be ready for me at my autobody shop in Tyler. It was not here and I have been waiting here for 45 minutes. I rented a car from their site on Irving ***** *******, while my insurance was handling my claim after an accident I had. They did not provide me the type of car that my insurance would cover claiming that they did not have that size available. They told me they would have the covered size in a few days. I needed a rental car due to an accident. Second party insurance was responsible to pay. This was my first time renting a car through the insurance. In speaking with the rental company, Enterprise Rent-A-Car in Quincy Massachusetts, it was not disclosed upfront that I would be responsible for additional charges related to the inability of the rental company to provide a sedan over an SUV. I called to confirm my reservation, the enterprise number I called confirmed that at the location I was going to they would have a vehicle for me. Charged me over $8000 on my credit card. Charged me their insurance at ***** a day and then also on my rental agreement $9 a day extra instead of $6 a day for my upgrade using the the car I selected, and when they agreed to resolve the issue I have have not received any response after calling them and emailing several times.
I reserved a rental in south ******* back in 2018 and was placed on the do not rent list because their employees refused ********** a car if I didnt get their insurance. I always rent cars and have rented with enterprise several times never needing their insurance. I had my own car insurance and also purchased insurance through Hotwire like I ALWAYS do. Good evening I totally disappointed and discouraged to use the Bartlett Enterprise location. Today my son got his first call about updating his rental contract which he has been in since 12/09/2022. When my son and I got there I was told that I owe 616.42 dollars to close out the account for usage from 01/05/2023 thru 02/13/2023 0950 hours.
