Surgery Plus is an awesome concept. You get to choose from highly qualified doctors and they will guide you through the process. Best thing is you get zero surprise bills from any doctors, its all covered by Surgery Plus. The process is smooth and I highly recommend!

Once I got started, surgery plus was a plus. They walked me through everything. Let me know what to expect and when to expect it, and when I have to have my next surgery, I will probably use surgery plus. The medical staff that I used was excellent and very professional.

Background: I live in PA, needed kidney stone removal. When I contacted plan, representative explained no drs. In PA to perform, closest being in SC. Twice requested doctors who could perform procedure. Was then provided drs. In TX for bariatric surgery?? No medical providers in my state? Was told plan covers travel to/from the medical provider but when reviewing literature, this "benefit" is considered a taxable event. They send a bunch of junk mail but their services are useless.

I have contacted this company several times to find out the status of an appointment. It's been going on three and a half weeks as of this message. I have very little faith in this company. The first week they told me their fax machine was down, now week 3 and 1/2 I'm told they contact the doctor's office and the doctor's office keeps hanging up on them. And these are the people picking your doctor to do surgery.

Even though they talked having facilities available here in Tallahassee I had to travel 200 miles. No big issue they paid for the airfare, 1 hour flight had a layover in Atlanta on the way home. I can't complain to them about the issues I had with the airline though they should have planned Non-Stop both ways especially when it was a 1 hour and I think 5 minutes late. They now no longer offer voicemail for their Care advocates you get to leave a message for when they can call you back with one of the other care advocates. Th... read more

During a stressful period in my life SurgeryPlus made everything so much easier for me. They researched physicians for me and handled so many expenses (with my company). Everyone I interacted with at Surgery Plus was nice and helpful!

Well I've called 4 times now and each agent seems to know nothing about my case initiated 2/28/23. One agent even said it was closed and had to re-open it. No email sent of doctor options, no reply on correspondence sent by email. I am really disgusted with this whole company.

I had a great experience with the service from selecting the doctor, to the follow up. The care and communication were constant and consistent. Employees followed through. But the best part is the amount of doctors that are in network from where a patient can select to have their procedure completed from.
