They will not pay the incentive even after the doctors office provided required records multiple times. The managers and supervisors are cowards who will not take a phone call. This benefit is a total fail.
horribly slow process. Started process a week ago - I have had to call everyday to get things moving - I am not impressed with this service. If someone needs surgery its a bad program- you are better off with a government hospital.
Surgery Plus was great from the beginning until the end. The turn around time for my husbands procedure was great. They exceeded our expectations.

Im wish I could say my experience was 5 stars. Many of the doctors are states away and I barely hear from my care advocate. I had to constantly call or email, it would take days to hear back. I will say both of my care advocates were VERY nice! No complaints there. However, I am still being billed. Reached out about having it corrected. No response and still being charged. From my experience, I personally wouldnt recommend to my family or friends. Too much of a hassle and my surgery has now been prolonged.
Wow! This was the best part of any insurance plans I have ever had! It paid for my surgery, paid for 5 days in the hotel for my family while I healed, paid for $35 per day for food for my husband and I and they call me to check on me. I felt like it couldnt be real but it is. No joke, this was an amazing benefit for me and my family!

My experience with SurgeryPlus was great as far as the scheduling of my procedure however the lack of transparency afterwards is another story. Whenever you call and ask for any information on your bill, the response is always "pending" claims and don't even bother asking for documentation off payment. It's bean a year since I've had my procedure and I still haven't received the financial incentive they promise you. Again, it's always "pending claims".
Surgery Plus has been an unvaluable service offered by my employer. My family (wife, daughter and I) have used it three times with successful outcomes and the best of it; NO BILLS! The entire process from the beginning (pre-surgery) to the end (post-surgery) is a Hassle-Free one! I will recommend Surgery Plus to anyone in my family and friends.
