My mother had surgery here 2 weeks ago and since then has been back at the ER twice with terrible pain in the surgery area. Doesn't seem like theres a sense of urgency to figure out what is going on to cause all this pain! No one should be at a level 8 for as long as she has! Used to love this hospital but not anymore...

Elmhurst Hospital.. 3rd fl. Nurses Station Elmhurst Hospital.. � Esmeralda � She's the most compassionate, helpful, intelligent, thoughtful, caring, committed to and loves her career. I wish that I could relay my gratitude for all that she's done for me. She definitely brought a lot of sunshine to my day ! She truly restored my faith in humanity ! Had my baby in the emergency room waiting over 2 hours. They worst than West Sub hospital. No room for her sitting next to the nurse station. An they say it's a good hospital.

Was at diagnostics main on Tuesday November 22. for an ultrasound on my arm. Doctor sent me back Wednesday November 23 for additional ultrasound on legs. Had to go through same process as day before....all the same questions. No info had changed in 26 hours, yet had to go through EVERYTHING all over again. The software for a new hospital should be up to date and not have to waste precious time when it comes to ones health.

My family has been using Elmhurst Hospital for many years, I grew up in the area. In recent years we have had many visits there for different reasons. Our last visit this week was an outpatient surgical procedure for my son. Dr Ortega was very professional and caring throughout the process. I would like to say "Thank you to Joy" at the outpatient surgery center. You were so kind and comforting to him, it made his experience go smoother.

My father had spinal surgery at Elmhurst yesterday. I was super impressed at the friendliness of all of the staff we encountered. It makes you feel much better about putting your loved one in a stranger's hands when they are warm and caring. I was also impressed with the beautiful facility. The open visiting hours are great. The room where my dad was admitted had a pull out couch, a recliner, and even a small table so family could take meals with him. The only negative is the amount of walking wrt had to do. So sad that is called emergency room,u could die waiting in the waiting room,,I was there on Nov,17 2016;got there at 2pm waited in waiting room for 2 hours then they took me to a room and guess what happened,,,I waited there 1:45 min,,because the nurse forgot they put me there,I was so pissed off,then another hour for them to do a test,,I can hear the nurses laughing and joking around,,,service is very bad in the emergency room,,,
