My mother in law has been in and out of the hospital for the last 3 weeks. She has returned twice since the surgery and is still in pain. The doctors told her today they don't know why she's in pain. They told us originally it could be an infection then that she might have torn her pancreas or that maybe her drain wasn't draining. They want to send her to rehab but haven't given us one concrete answer about why she's in pain. I don't understand how a hospital can treat a person this way.
