My father has been in and out of the hospital for the past few month. It's been rough on the family. We don't appreciate when doctors come into the room and are rude and don't want to listen to what we have to say or care about the past history. I gave a 4 only because patient food is terrible if food was good it would be a 5 but otherwise best care I've ever had in a hospital thank you for your time and help in getting me well
I can never go back to Edwards – Elmhurst, I am hurt, disappointed, angry, and even insulted that in over year, I never heard from my Primary. Even after being diagnosed with Stage 4 Cancer, when I needed her most, I never heard from her. I held out hope I would hear from her. No, not one word, not one message, nothing. Dr Robert Hung approved my husbands transfer in the middle of the night without telling family. He had consent for both myself, his wife and my husbands sister but he failed to communicate . I called cardiac telemetry in the morning and no one would talk to me. Furthermore, the idiot that medically cleared him ignored the fact that his platelets had fallen to 16,000 while he was there and his bilirubin had risen from 5.2 to 7.9 in just 3 days! So I got the horrific respiratory flu bug this year. Ear infection/pain nonstop for weeks on end. Edward Elmurst -Sycamore Clinic, stayed with me, working dilligently to kill the infection. Three 10 day rounds, of 3 different antibiotics! The bacteria strain was so strong.Dr Thornton, and especially his nurse Stephanie, spoke with me as often as necessary to direct me through the illness. Thanks to them, and Thank-you Edward-Elmhurst - Sycamore for the care.
Have had nothing but good to say..... staff is very knowledgeable and helpful. Dr. Gafudd is awesome.
