Bought a car from them end of January and the vehicle didnt even make it to its first oil change. Only put **** miles on it before the engine seized up. Checked the oil and it was BONE DRY. As a single working mother I need my car. Elgin Hyundai has given me the run around now for going on 2 weeks. They kept my car for 10 months. No loaner. No update. No reimbursement of my car payments. I payed and brought my own mechanic to look at my car and explain to me why they were taking this long since they were not giving me any answers. Got my car the next day.. funny how that works. Guess thats what happens when youre a 23 year old girl that has zero knowledge about cars. Worse experience as a first car owner.

RX330 I test drive this car drove slowly. Because brakes were. They said will fix it after 2 hrs they call back, braks were still bad I had to push the padle all the way down to slow down. Even thaugh we set the the price. But I had walkout. Brake Master cylinder is bad. I OFFER 7K.

First i made an apointment to go and see the car i went the next day to drive over 40min just to find out the car was taken by the manager on his day off. i wnet the next day to check out the car i liked it i was intrested. The manager jim was disrespectful and the price of the car went up by $4000 because of the random stuff they add. JUST FRAUDULENT!Elgin Hyundai deserves every single horrible review that is posted here. We communicated with the dishonest internet sales person who told us that the specific car we were looking for was available. The bait and switch was put right into action when we arrived. We found out that the car was sold three months prior! The sales person could not wait to offer other more expensive cars that were available. The sales tactics at Elgin Hyundai are brutal. When you ask for your trade in keys back it is like a fight to get the keys back. They often advertise vehicle that are often sold and will substitute a Hyundai that often costs more. On the use car front. you can often buy a new model for what they are asking for the used model after they ad all the perks of the used model.

Absolutely the worst car buying experience ever. I had an appointment set up with our inside sales to come and see the vehicle. She confirm with me at 1:30 in the afternoon I told her I would see her in an hour. I drove 20 miles to the dealership they told me that the jeep was sold in the morning the dealership was filthy. All the windows are filthy. It was about 80 Degrees inside and nobody knew what was going on. I will never go back. I contacted Hyundai to tell them what their dealership look like. Sales rep was OK. Didn't seem terribly interested in the selling the car. The car needed new tires so it was very difficult to see if it drove well or if the alignment was off.
