I saw Dr. Wellens because I have been having pain in my foot, which turned out to be planter fasciitis. She was very kind and took the time to explain to me exactly what was going on in terms I could understand. I found her to be extremely knowledgeable and would definitely recommend her to anyone! Thanks again!
Although I had some kind of a growth on the bottom of my foot, this "doctor" refused to treat it. It appears that doing that and cutting nails is beneath her. When I scheduled the appt with her I was told that she was a medical doctor. I am going to see my Orthopedist because I don't think that she correctly analyzed the full scope of the foot pain that I was experiencing. Essentially, she checked for diabetic neuropathy, nothing more.

Easy time scheduling appointment friendly staff and Dr was kind and explained things well.
I've had two appointments with Dr. Wellens. Both appointments were the 1st of the day. Both times, she arrived at the office 25 and 7 minutes after my scheduled appointment, respectively. After arriving 7 minutes later than my scheduled time, I waited 10 more minutes. Then, as I was shuffled to an exam room, I passed her in the corridor carrying a plate of food, casually chatting with other Drs. I waited about 10 more minutes then finally... Felt like a Stephen King movie. My first visit, I was reprimanded at the front desk. I felt like I got the bums rush from the doctor after disclosing this was a workman’s comp visit. Weather this is true or not it was my perception. Bedside manner - none.
