Dr Wellens listened, diagnosed, explained in terms I understood then came up with a plan to treat while asking my thoughts. Great experience
Dr Wellens has consistently provided expert medical care for my foot issues. I have bad feet. I no longer feel the pain and discomfort and I completely trust her continued care.
My original foot doctor moved to Tennessee. I also indicated I was an existing OWCP case and would need continuous paperwork, a previous test read and was having issues with feet swelling and discoloration for sometime now. I was told these things wouldn’t be a problem. Dr well ends told me she wouldn’t take me off my feet, she said nerve issues are from a 15 year old back issue and not my foot condition and refused to give me paperwork for OWCP for being out of work. 3for3 Wouldn’t recommend this doctor.

She's an absolute joke. Walked in the room with the biggest attitude ive ever experianced as if she had better places to be. Completly dismissed my xrays didnt even glance at them, diagnosed me with tendonitis, turns out my ankle was shattered. Cares more about herself than her patients.
I saw Dr Wellens for an ingrown toenail. She made the process very easy and as painless as she possibly could . She gave me knowledge on the situation and answered all questions
Would recommend this dr to anyone who needs a fantastic foot dr.
Explained everything in layman’s term. Everyone in the office was courteous and pleasant.
Dr. Wellens was nice enough on the surface. I had a fractured ankle and was provided very little information about what to expect or answers to my questions. Very limited patient education and under 5 minutes for a total visit without feeling prepared to care for myself. The worst part of my experience was the education handout I found in the my chart online option.
