Dr Wellens was wonderful. I had been dealing with a foot problem for several months and saw another doctor without improvement. She diagnosed my problem on the first visit. X-rays were done in the office that day and reviewed with me. I am now training for my first half marathon! Thank you so much.
She is a horrible doctor. Wasted over 6 months going to her. Despite my high level of pain following an ankle twist, which persisted for more than 3 months, she maintained that the X-ray was a sufficient diagnostic image. Finally after I begged for an MRI and ultrasound, she acquiesced only since I threatened to go elsewhere. Turned out I had a fractured fibula with a piece of the bone broken off. Afterwards, she never even called me to discuss the results or any concerns. AVOID!

Dr. Wellens made LITTLE eye contact. Abrupt. Hardly explained condition before sending me off to orthotics. Wanted to discuss another ailment & blew me off.

The reception staff at both the Northeast and Chestnut Street locations were so helpful, friendly and so pleasant! They truly went above and beyond to help when everything hit the fan!

Dr Wellens has been my podiatrist for over 10 years and I would highly recommend her to everyone. She is professional, compassionate, and highly skilled. She always listens to her patients and goes above and beyond to find the best resolution. All of my family and friends will continue to have her as our podiatrist.
