I believe how I was treated at Eastern Shore Toyota has no reflection on my actual salesperon, David Cohen. David was actually very nice and very accommodating. I believe it was people on the back end that made the process very uncomfortable. I have bought at least 6 cars and never have I had to jump through so many hoops as I had to with Eastern Shore Toyota. Even yesterday when I finally picked up my truck, I almost walked out. My car is currently being held hostage in their service department. Bought it 2 weeks ago, found out the options package paperwork was never put in, finally got a hold of Fred the condescending sales manager who told me to bring my car in on Thursday, called today and my car is in limbo, the salesman doesn't know what is going on, and it may be until Tuesday before I get my car back. They were "kind" enough to rent me a car since they don't do loaners.

Well I was there friday just to claim a 3000 dollar prize I won and figured it was a joke and then found a truck I liked and for 4 and a half hours they wheeled and sealed with me and we came to an agreement on price and payments signed a purchase agreement and 2 days later threatened to have me arrested for unlawful possession of the vehicle if I didn't return it in 3 hours! So my lawyer just got involved and I still have my copy!!!

I'm going to stick with my original three star rating, though I am editing this post to reflect recent developments. My older daughter bought a Matrix from this dealership last year, and has had no problems. The customer service she received was exemplary. Last week, I received a flyer stating that I won a 3k cash prize. There were NO disclaimers on the flyer. I called the number and gave them my confirmation code and was informed that yes, I had won. Went today May 22 2014 to talk trade. Was influenced by a mail out that indicated I had won a significant prize. I was skeptical and showed it to several friend family and employees and all said it looked like I was a winner. When I arrived I was given a "coin" as my actual prize but was asked for all my personal info leading up to it. A sales pitch followed and I was informed that it was all " Mark e ting". Think of the worst stereotypical used car salesman and that is basically what you get here. Oh it's dressed up and looks pretty, but in reality they are the epitome of unprofessional. Stay away!

We had a horrible experience here today. We had a great sales person and then another guy I guess from financing came and talked with us. He was so rude, egotistical and unprofessional we left. We will not be going back to Eastern Shore Toyota for another vehicle.
