If there were a way to give negative stars I would. I was there as part of a convention and it was horrific. Jovan was the only redeemable part for the whole experience. They messed all of the meals that were served did not follow the BEO at all for many room setups and did not close off part of the areas, which they say was due to weather but didn't even attempt to offer a solution to that problem till the third day of the event.
Room is great and cleaning staff is on point. Was there for convention. When it came time for the dinner cooking staff was so disorganized. Orders were sent it advance for dinner and half the order were not executed properly and some did not their food.
Took 12 trys to get a room because in there system the room was empty but when t got to the room guests where in them.
I thought the customer service was right on point I believe that all the staff there were very nice and friendly we even got complimentary water and a cookie when we walk in. It was very clean in my opinion. I would stay again. San Diego DoubleTree Hotel.
The beds were small and too soft, pillows super big. Didn't have enough towels, had to request twice. Paid for dinner Togo, it took a super long time even though we were the only 2 there. The sink and tub both seemed to have a drain issue.
Parking is horrible, but location is good and close to a lot of restaurants.
