I called to get information about a mobile unit. Immediately I felt like I was in a time share presentation. The sales person worked on her own agenda and not mine, the customer. The rep made baseless allegations about ******* ***** and ****** repackaging refurbished or returned products as new. Very unhappy so far. I signed up for Dish service on Sept. 4. Before I signed up with Dish, I had a key question for the broker at the Dish-sponsored store in my hometown: I wanted to make sure I would have NBC Sports Chicago. I was a customer for 7 years spent thousands of dollars with these people and referred countless customers to dish network. Upon cancellation Feb 22 2020 with a final balance of + 3$, my services were reinstated and charged me for the following month, no one in my household reinstated the service. I called on Feb 26th 2020 they preceded to tell me that they couldn’t go back to my original disconnect date. After being a Dish Customer for almost 10 years, we decided to go with Roku to lower our costs(1/3 price of Dish). Boxes were sent to wrong state. The third time I called, they resent the boxes. At that time, the Rep was asked if I was going to be charged and was told the answer was not until 30 days after I get the boxes(first lie). Totally lied to my elderly parents, they were told they had programming that they didn’t, they found out that they were in negotiations so they wouldn’t have it, then when they called to cancel they were told that they were two days past the cancellation date so they couldn’t cancel. They take advantage of people that don’t understand everything especially the elderly.
Dish doesn't seem to have anybody who knows how to negotiate. The removal of the regional sports networks is not right. These teams belong to us, the fans. Not dish or ********. The fact that these companies hold us, the customers hostage, and have no regard for us, the customer is just wrong. I will be cancelling my subscription and switching to **** **** **. It is half the price and I can watch my tigers, with no contract.

After several years I cancelled my Dish on January 20, 2020 and have a credit balance of $135. It had been over a month (today is February 24) since I canceled and no refund. I called today and they said they are now issuing a refund and it will take 19 business days to receive. Unbelievable! Never going back
I'll start with saying that I have been a Dish customer for 10+ years. I've had some good customer service over the years, but paid some pretty steep prices. My wife and I recently decided that we want to end our service, which would require an early termination fee. We took out our contract to see what it would cost, and specifically, in the contract it says "$10/month, not to exceed $240".
