In 1909, Frank M. Covert, Sr., a real estate and insurance businessman opened the first automobile dealership in Central Texas. Three years later, his son, Clarence Covert, Sr., joined him to form the Austin Buick Sales Company, which became the foundation for Covert Buick, Inc., the oldest Buick dealership in Texas today. We brought our 2016 F350 in for its 10,000 mile service- we were the first in line, there at 6:30 am on a Saturday morning. Our service lady said 1&1/2 hour wait- ugh, but ok...at 9:30 we finally got our truck, after watching most of the people that were behind us get their vehicles and leave. No word from our service advisor until we searched her out after two hours. We won’t be back.

Awful experience. After my 4th transmission failure and less than 3000 since the last time they rebuilt it, Covert charged me for some of the parts and would offer no warranty on the work performed.
I just walked around the parking lot for 20-30 mins. Not one person acknowledged me. I thought 2 employees were on their way to talk to me, instead they came to a car near me and ignored me. Then I over heard one of the dark-haired female employees call another customer a C**T and the male employee seemed to agree with her. After a while, I gave up to go inside to see if they had anymore stock in the continental and I had to approach a group of them talking to even get someone to acknowledge me. Hopefully I will be able to say they stand behind their service work. I had the ac replaced 5 weeks ago but it’s not working now. Unfortunately , I am 1500 miles from Austin and will be away for a month.
Visited two Sunday’s in a row and salesmen made eye contact with me but never introduced themselves or acknowledged me waiting. Went to receptionist for help and she said I needed to choose between new and used and I told her I was open to either. She said she couldn’t put me with a salesman unless I committed to one or the other. Politely told her I would take my business elsewhere.
This is a convenient location and the service is friendly.
