This company should NOT be BBB accredited. They STEAL and do not provide refunds for FRAUD they accept. I happen to catch a charge this billing cycle for $119.40 from this company and I am not a customer of theirs. I spoke to supervisor Kaye, who stated their company is offshore, so not even in the USA as their address leads us to believe. My credit card has been being charged fraudulently for 5 years since Feb 2016 for a total of $597.00 and they will not offer a refund. The service was not very helpful, and I learned that they play a large role in buying documents and helping students cheat on their tests/exams. I could not cancel my account despite several attempts. Ended up having to get rid of credit card to stop the billing. Complete scam, do not get course hero!

Deceptive billing practices. Canceled online. saw that I had been charged and so I called to get a refund. Only received a partial refund since they said I didn't cancel. I made sure to cancel this time. Got billed again. This time, i made sure to email so that I would have a record that I actually cancelled. They refunded this amount but I am certain now that I canceled the first time. Their service and pricing isn't worth it.

I am a faculty member of a university. This site houses thousands of copyrighted documents that students use to cheat on their exams and papers. I have written the company numerous times asking why they allow this. They have yet to respond to me about my concerns. I am sickened that they are a "BBB" accredited company.

They charge me for a yearly subscription. I never updated my card to my new one but they someone got it and charged me for it when I didn’t want it or I would have done it myself.

A bunch of crooks! They don't tell you that they steal your noted after you upload them and make a business out of them. They do not pay you for uploading noted but they sell your notes! How is this not illegal and is this an A+ business on BBB?

Course hero is refusing to issue a refund. A purchase for $119 was made and was not authorized and they refuse to refund the money. And on top of that they locked the account, I don't want the account but if I did I can't get into it.

They steal copyright original content from students and educators and monetize their database. They refuse or make it near-difficult to remove or delete that content. Amazes me how there aren't any lawsuits against them.

Course Hero Inc keeps stealing my copyrighted materials, hosting then without my permission, and selling them for profit. I have asked previously to pull the materials down but they keep returning. Most of the materials hosted on the website hold copyright not owned by the company.
