This should be ZERO STARS! Buyer beware! Course Hero advertises a monthly rate of 9.99$ and then charges you $119.00 upfront for the entire YEAR!!!! I signed up with them and after realizing the charge canceled, having been registered for a mere hour! They REFUSED to refund me only trying to sell me more products. After a lengthy process with PayPal I was refunded but be advised that this company utilizes business tactics that are deceptive and to STUDENTS!

My husband had a Course Hero account back when he was in college and canceled in 2018 after he graduated. We are STILL being charge $119.40 annually, despite canceling the account and disputing the charge EVERY TIME. They will NOT remove our card and stop charging us. We even got new cards and somehow they updated to the new number without us doing it. I'm at wit's end. I don't want to get lawyers involved, but I'm not sure what else to do at this point.

I purchased a $39.95/1 month membership in order to view the documents The entire website leads you to believe that once you "complete your membership for instant access", you will have "instant access to over 25 million documents". Nowhere does it state that even after you pay for a membership, you will have to earn "unlocks" to access the 25 million documents you were guaranteed to have instant access to! If i can give 0 star very fraud scam people. I just open my account and chose a 39.95 month bill that i though will help me to learn whenever i needed but unfornately if you exceed just to look for document you will get charge more. why is that i thought i already paid for my member. I want my money back . I'd like a refund on the yearly subscription. I thought that I'd be paying $10 per month and could cancel anytime. I did not know that I would be paying $119 immediately. i tried to cancel but it didn't do anything. I am already having financial issues, i didn't want to add more. DO NOT BUY!!!! SCAM!!!!!! Wish I could give them zero stars!!!!!!! Unlike some of the other reviewers, I was able to access the site but the papers that were on the site were very poorly written. One of my "unlocks" was a 4 page blank paper that had someone's name and email address at the bottom that said to email him with questions. Questions about what? The entire paper was blank. Course Hero claims that they review every paper before posting. Do not believe anything they say.

I just started working here and so far I have NO complaints. I haven't been expected to help a student cheat, as a matter of fact, I routinely encourage them to do their own work. We'll see how it goes when it is time for me to get paid, but so far I've made about 15 dollars an hour, considering what I've made in the time I've spent working. Like I said, we'll see if they pay me what I've made so far when the time comes. If they do then honestly this is one of the best side jobs I've ever had.

As a tutor on coursehero my account was locked and my money was kept. They claimed that I broke rules when I did not. As soon as I made a certain amount they blocked me from being a tutor. This is an unethical company and should be shut down.
