I purchased course hero service, I wish I did not. I have tried contacting them for a refund for the past three days, but I haven't got any response. very poor customer service.

Seems the people at Course Hero tend to suck your original works into their online database, use those works to entice poor students into a subscription and then kick the original user as an "honor violator." Pretty cheesy. I created an account and found my own content on the Course Hero site (my original essays, multi-choice answers, etc) with my page codes. all after I was closed for "honor violation." I suppose that's one way to pad the database with fresh content.

I signed up for Course Hero online. Paid $119.40 by credit card at the time of registering. Unwittingly I did not know they automatically debit you card a year later....yes a year later! I contacted my credit card company and disputed the charge. The credit card company found in Course Hero favor. Course Hero is designed for students. A student invariably enrolls for a college subject once and once completed then moves on to the next semester with other courses. I had to cancel my membership and could not locate my account. When I contacted them, they not only cancelled my membership but refunded everything. Great customer service & prompt response.

I had a membership with course hero, after paying them $80 a week for two weeks ($20 per advanced question, total of 4 answered) they suggested I start paying more for advanced questions to be answered, when I told them I could not afford to pay more than $20 per advanced questions their tutors refused to help me in the 4 hours confirmed time they said they would for the $20 I paid and I missed my deadline for my problem because I had to do it on my own with no statistical help from course hero. I have used this company for online tutoring. It is not useful at all. Took almost 24 hours to get an answer to my question. The answer was laughable!

This site is completely useless. There is no real way to search for anything specific just a bunch of essays or papers. There is no rhyme or reason to any of it. Looking up flashcards is a nightmare because all you find are a bunch of SINGLE flashcards. Who is going to go through 3,000 flashcards looking for the ones that are relevant to your study needs?! Course hero is a scam site! They claim to have solutions to textbooks. But once you pay all they have is useless spam like the class syllabus of another college; or an unsolved copy of the problem that you were searching for a solution for.
