I've used Coolray for my home and business for the past 15-20 years because they have always done a wonderful job. They show up on time and give me a detailed analysis of what the problem is and an honest and fair price to fix it. Today was another instance of why I will always call them. Thermostat did not have a COOL feature, it only had OFF or HEAT. I went on line to see if I could try and fix it myself but, the manufacturer did not have the procedure on how to fix it. It was getting very warm in the house, about 85 degrees. I had called Coolray to schedule a technician to come to the house as soon as possible. Coolray technician Brad Smith had arrived at around 9pm and he was able to replace the thermostat and cool the house. COOLRAY: "Sir, you have a defective motor and a broken blower wheel. Diagnosis $150. Estimate $1,075". LOCAL HVAC COMPANY "Sir, a few pieces came loose but we can fix them now. Total Bill $460. At least they only got me in $150.
I highly recommend this company ! This team both the HVAC side AND the Plumbing side are AMAZING! I recently had two new units install and plumbing work done. They thoroughly explained everything to me. As a single mom it was important that I could trust them and feel confident in the work being done. Did I mention they were SO professional and courteous? I HIGHLY recommend this company!
