I've been an Orkin Customer with the Alsip ********* since 2012. The **************** and lack of respect for customers has always been horrible at this Branch. This branch does not schedule appointments correctly especially when technicians are off. This branch doesn't take into account the customer's work schedule when scheduling appointments (when customers specifically state when they will be available) . I initially signed up for Orkin service last month (October 2022). When I spoke to the Orkin Tech at my home, we went over various service plans. The Tech told me that I could choose a quarterly plan - in which I'd pay $127 for the first 2 months, then be charged every 3 months afterward. To my surprise, my second visit was not free of charge (as I was told), and I was charged $117. Furthermore, the Tech did significantly less during my second visit. Pros and cons! I worked for Orkin for 11 years. Orkin itself as a pest control company is an excellent pest company. They will get rid of your pest problems! With that being said their integrity level for work personal is very low. I hurt my back 2xs on the job at Orkin, as I was working my 17hr days. The 3rd time I hurt it I was in the way out the door to go to work. I slipped and hurt it again in the same place I previously hurt it. Only this time my injury was severe! I wish I wouldve read these reviews before using Orkins service. Their service is horrible. The first initial service may have been worth it for spiders. After about the second month, they showed up whenever they felt like it. Theyd skip a month, but the worst part is them charging my husbands card $100 for a service not completed. We are in *********, *********. They would come out when we werent at home, no appointments set and then charge us for the month knowing good well they hadnt sprayed the inside of our home. COMPLETE SCAM! Before you decide to use this company please read the factual reviews from here and their fb page before getting scammed! Unsure how this company has a 4.8 star rating. This company is the most unprofessional business Ive ever seen. They have scammed me by locking me into a contact for a full year while their service has been extremely unprofessional, showing up unannounced, spraying chemicals that do nothing but make the bug problem worse! Scam artists. Worst experience of my life. I had them come for termite treatment. Was quoted a little less than $7k. Ive been making double the minimum payments and somehow Im $2k over where I should be. You can tell me its interest all you want, but its a complete scam and I will never be using Orkin or Rollins ever again.
Paid ****** dollars for orkintherm insulation. The insulation was initally done incorrectly and it covered a live wire that *************** was coming back to fix. He couldn'tfind the wire because of the mess from the orkintherm. We informed orkin. They said it doesnt matter because orkintherm is non flammable. Additionally we were told that we would still be able to use our attic ppst insulation. That was a lie by orkin to make a sale. Very unimpressed and angry.
I have been using Orkin - ****** ** office for over 5 years. The technician is phenomenal and knows our house well and knows how I do not like bugs or rodents. He has done a great job; however, the customer service is horrible. *** in the office is rude and I have had it with her and do not even know how she still has a job. in reference to the Orkin located in *****, ********.I bought a pillow at Target. the pilllow had flees.My wife also has brain cancer, so keeping her safe and undisturbed is a priority.The first person came out (*********)Nice guy, however did a ***** minute job inside the house in only 2 minutes then took longer outside the house.
