BEWARE COMMUNITY HONDA IN ORLAND PARK, IL!!! THIS IS WHY PEOPLE DON’T TRUST CAR DEALERS. I need to get this off my chest. I had been receiving notices to have my Takata airbag repaired by Honda for no cost. I finally found the time to take it in on 04/18/2018. I told them I was in a hurry and they acknowledged that. I was told it would take 3 to 4 hours but no charge. I picked it up at about the 4-hour mark. I was told no charge, but the vehicle needed filters, belts, tires, fluids and the charge to do that was over $2000. I... read more

Bruce ********* 2005 CRV 157786 miles Driver & passenger air bag replaced 4/18/18. On 4/30/18 customer notified us that an SRS light was on. Diagnosed complaint as left front Impact sensor bad. This is not related to the repair. The vehicle also had many check engine codes previously stored in the computer. Will do at a discounted if customer would like the repair work preformed.

I never have my car serviced at this location because of past negative experiences but had to bring my Odyssey in due to the recent recall. A service employee, Michael (per my invoice) came out to me about an hour into my visit with a handwritten list of maintenance work that was recommended to be done. One of the suggested services was to have my power steering fluid flushed because “the fluid looked dirty.” I advised that I had just had this done 20 hours before elsewhere and asked if they actually looked at the fluid. They don’t stand behind their work. Brought car in for airbag safety recall and now the back lighting of my dash is out. Was told it was just a coincidence and would need to pay to have it addressed. Do not trust them!!!

Jerry, when replacing your air bar on your Civic with 162,000 miles, we do not do any work in the area of your heater control bulbs. We offered to do something to reconcile your dissatisfaction, but you refused stating it was our fault the bulbs burned out. I love my Honda Fit. What I don't love is the service I was just offered at Community Honda. Saturday I had to get a new battery for my 2015 Fit. Seemed a like a short life for a battery, but I had Honda service it, because I trusted I would get quality service. My check tire light goes on all the time and at the service dept advise, I have already had 5 new tires installed at full price on my 2015. Seems I was one month too late to get a deal. I’ve never bashed a business before on Facebook, but I was so disgusted with Community Honda Orland Park that I had to share (apologies in advance for the long rambling, but I need to vent!!).
