I just received the worst service ever. I went in for an oil change with an appointment. I was there for almost two hours... FOR AN OIL CHANGE! Glad I didn't ask for a car wash, it probably would have been another 30 minutes. I gave you a chance Honda. Especially after I had such a great experience buying my car from you! I won't be returning here again unless it's absolutely necessary. I am very disappointed.

Been going here for 14 years, they're the only place I've ever taken my cars. Over the past four years the service department went from a group of knowledgeable, competent people to a bunch of guys who are just looking to clock in and clock out, putting in the least amount of effort possible. My entire family has had separate problems with misinformation, poor customer service, and even worse repairs. I'll just give you the last straw... Salespeople did a wonderful job, that was about 2 years ago. Since then, it has not been terrible- but I'm not thrilled. I leased the car which was a good decision. The tire pressure light came on soon after I bought the car. No big deal. Got the car its first service, light comes on again. Still, no big deal. They just hit a reset button. Had car serviced again because a bearing went bad and had tires rotated. And, immediately tire light is on. Ugh! I just wish service department would value my time. Community Honda, You have the most rude employees I have ever encountered in decades of dealing with dealerships, and your service manager is a flat out disgrace! As a business owner, I know that customer service is the most important component of any business. You drop the ball so terribly, you don't deserve to do business! You just lost a customer for life. I recommend everybody does business with Planet Honda in Matteson instead.
I had a great experience with Community Honda!!! I purchased my new Honda using the internet. Jamie Bell was extremely helpful and pleasant to work with over the phone. When I decided to make my purchase, she forwarded me to Tracy Schmersal who finalized my deal.... I would highly recommend both of them.... I'm telling all of my friends and family about this dealership.... I've even decided to drive a little further to use the service department.....

Don't bother making an appointment for service, but if you do, be prepared to wait hours for an oil change. Service guy busy typing away couldn't have cared less about the full lobby, 10 people in line, and me telling him I planned to take my business elsewhere. He shrugged his shoulders and said "it's like this all the time.". What's the point of making an apt then? From what I understand the buying process is fair and enjoyable though. Their service dept is majorly flawed.
NO WAY. I have lived in 4 states and gone to 4 different Honda dealerships for the service of my vehicle. This by FAR is the WORST Honda dealership I have ever seen. Not only do you not get acknowledged when you walk into their service department, but they put on wiper blades that they knew did not fit into my windshield wipers, which caused the rubber piece to nearly fly off while driving in a rain storm, but they were so ill fitting, they scratched our entire windshield and that had to be replaced.
