If I could leave no stores I would this company I brought my air conditioner from 5 years ago and from 5 years every time they come out for my maintenance they find something wrong the last time they were here they put the wrong part on it because he didn't have the part in his truck then they try to tell me that they smelled mold in my home and wanted me to buy air purifier number one he never told me that this air purifier that's **** would need a $500 light bulb every year or two I got a second opinion from a very good co... read more

In September of 2021 we had Total Comfort ARS/Rescue Rooter install a new oil-fed boiler furnace in our home. About a year later TC came back to fix a continual water leak. This was under a warranty for the device. This is good, but inconvenient nonetheless. Two days before Christmas of 2022, the middle of winter, a HydroStat control unit failed and Total Comfort ARS/Rescue Rooter could not obtain a replacement controller for 33 days. Buyer BEWARE Of this company. Never in my life have I seen a company that treats paying customers like this one.I purchased 14 ton seer a/c unit from them which was never correctly installed. They have sent out technicians who cannot figure out how to resolve the issue several. technicians who have confirmed a fault because my house was up to 5 degrees warmer than thermostat reads, house only cools off when below 74 and below.I spent 10k on a system that does not work! I had an appointment for 5/15/2023 between 10 AM and 2 PM. Not here yet at 6 PM, I called them it will be tomorrow. I took a day off to have my A/C repaired, now I have to take a second day so they can fix it. This company is crappy, oh the name of the ********, ** and the manager I was speaking with is ******. Maybe tomorrow they will show up, she said first call ****, I will not hold my breath. I suggest you find another company.

My AC unit still on the warranty for parts. Technician who repaired this unit did - Heat Pump Capacitor Replacement - Contactor Replacement The time for this labor was less then 1 hour.Why ARS charged me for $470????How is possible that labor cost to replace 2 small parts in AC unit $470/h???

They said there was a problem with the airflow. ******************************* was called to my home to check the airflow of my **. TEC came in looked in the attic and claimed that there was no airflow getting into the 2 rooms. Said I needed all new ductwork and gave me an invoice for $13,055.63. Called for a second opinion. 2 of the People i delt with were terrible people they talk down to you and it was their unit that was the issue! I had it 2yrs, basically nee, the motoe blew and computer motor and I called for emergency call which I had extended warranty on and they told me ut was $1700 for labor It took 2weeks for them to finally fix it . They ordered wrong part 2times and then after 1week waiting they overnight part I called 2dys later and found out the part had been sitting there for 2 days. I'm waiting on a response when ****** will be sending a tech to pick up this condense fan motor that ****** would honor a new warranty on. I was told by a manager I would get a new fan motor because the fan motor we've had under warranty since 06 2022 isn't any good. When tech came out he wouldn't put on invoice a new motor that came with a new warranty. I don't trust ****** .
