Poor greeting! Awful food! Beautiful Atmosphere! – Atmosphere is beautiful! Service is bad and the food was awful!!! We were greeted poorly at the door. The waitstaff seemed to be preoccupied even though there were only a handful of customers. Some friends and I came after a Kenny G concert. The concert was wonderful and we expected a lot from the dinner club because of the atmosphere but wow!!!!!! If they want to stay in business they must always be about business. Best Lunch Value in Downtown Dallas – Go to Harwood 609 - I go 2-3 times a week and it's like eating in grandma's kitchen! Homecooked food, great price, and now....good service. They have overcome their opening week jitters, the orders are quick, accurate, and the food is wonderful. No where can you get this quality and quantity of food for under $8 including tip.
Class Act – I have to say that Harwood 609 is AWESOME! And every-way, there food is HOMEMADE, customer service is AWESOME, the dining area is CLASSY, everything that I look for in a restaurant 609 had it, they had me when I saw the classic piano sitting by the window in the corner, and they are a CLASS ACT. I will continue to spread the news about this wonderful restaurant.
Classy lunch spot. – I went to Harwood 609 today for lunch I love it... the food was great very classy atmosphere, and the service was great, I will return again for lunch, happy hour keep up the excellent work, servicing the Downtown/ DallasArea.
The Jazziest Jazz spot ever!!!! – WOW!! just sums it up for me Harwood 609 made all My birthday wishes come true the food was great! the staff was Extremely pleasant and as for BILL G. He made all the birthday ladies feel like TRUE SUPERSTARS the band was GREAT they even let me sing. This club will be around for a very long time. For those of you who may have had a bad experience give them another try Im sure they will change your mind. THANKS HARWOOD 609 !!!! We will be back..........
MUST SEE!!!!! Graet Jazz and interior! Wow! – Wow, Have you been to ANY jazz club lately? The great jazz clubs I have heard about seemed like something only the ?old timers? could talk about until now. I live Downtown in Dallas and went to Harwood 609 Jazz & Dinner Club last night. Fabulous! – I had a great time at Harwood 609! I love the decor and the staff was really friendly. The Jazz band was fantastic. I had so much fun. Oh and the drinks were good too! I will definately be back. The food and deserts were really tasty as well.
Give them another try – I went in for dinner last nigh and it was fantastic. I have not been in harwood 609 for lunch but for a downtown jazz club it was supberb. The chicken was great and I can't tell you the last time I had butter beans like that. Real food, and real entertainment. This club will make it for the jazz alone. The fishtanks were entertaining enough, so I would reccommened that you give them a try at night. Maybe lunch was a afterthought???? Jazz downtown in a swanky way.
False Advertising – Harwood 609 gives you the impression that it will be a very nice experience but it was not close. The wait staff wasn't very accurate as to what there was to drink, he never mentioned the salad bar which was probably the size of a small table. The dish with the lettuce was very low and you had to wait a while before it was refilled. I asked if there was Ranch dressing and the wait staff said yes so I asked if he could bring me some.
