Concerned Customer The place is beautiful. The Owner is a very nice gentleman. There are a few good servers. Wendy is awesome. Myron, the head chef, goes above and beyond with his meals. Tamala is also great. As for the floor Managers, they seem to just be there for a paycheck. One Manager, Lafayette I believe his name is, was very rude when trying to communicate with him regarding an issue I had one time. Overall, the atmosphere is good and I would recommend this place to you if you haven't tried it.
Great time last night was the first time we visit Harwood 609, we had a good time everything was great and the staff was awesome thanks for a good time, and we will be back soon
Harwood 609 Dallas Live Jazz and Dinner Club needs work When I first walked in I noticed the decor was a little out dated but other than that it seemed like a nice establishment. The more time I spent there the more my opinion changed. I asked the waitress for a wine list and she looked at me like I was insane. (Any basic restaurant should have a listing of wine.) Dr.Jekyll at Mr.Hyde's? After reading these reviews, I think this club should rename itself, "Dr. Jekyll at Mr. Hyde's." Not sure I have ever seen such disparity in reviews! I was there with a large number of people who were all attending a conference in Dallas 10-23 & 10-24. The group included people from various areas of the States as well as countries around the globe. EVERYONE had a great time dancing. Nice establisment... Me and some friends went on 10/10/09, Saturday to Harwood 609. We had a very good time. I would recommend this place for friends or family members to attend lunch. The price for the buffet was very reasonable. I almost didn't believe the price. The food was very good.
Harwood 609 Dallas Live Jazz and Dinner Club is wonderful! I have seen some negative reviews, but could not disagree more. I had a surprise party for my husband here and I am pretty (well very) picky. I was quite pleased. The place is nice and the band "In The Mix" was awesome. HARWOOD 609 VANISHED THE LABOR LAWS Word is out, this place is mistreating their employees, has just fired numerous employees without a reason. 1. WHY should an upscale club not have rules and regulations to abide by if they are open for business? Our First Experience at Harwood 609 Jazz and Dinner Club Our night at Harwood 609 August 14, 2009...Upon arriving at the establishment we were surprised to see that for a Friday Night at 10:30p.m. not many cars were there. When entering we were met at the door by the Maitre D who appeared to lack experience in that capacity. Wow!! Service with a smile - It Does Exist!! Today was my second visit for lunch here. I happen to be a big Foodie and am continuing to be impressed with what is being offered here. Since starting work in Downtown, I've marveled at the lack of decent restaurants in the immediate area. Harwood 609 is offering a great value to the lunch crowd and some pretty good food too.
