GREAT ATMOSPHERE – I had been searching for Billy G's for a while now. I wasn't sure where they had moved to until I ran into a friend that told me about this wonderful place that had opened up about a month ago. It's all in your perception – Wow, there are really different opionions on this page. I came all the way from Frisco and have to disagree with the table that felt they should each write a review and try to hurt this establishment. I came for Happy hour to Downtown dallas all the way from Frisco to have a good time. What I found was a GREAT time! Atmosphere – I come from Houston where Charles Bushs was the man in the club scene all the way back to Dallas. So that kinda give you my age group. I heard about Harwood 609 and traveled here from Houston to check it out. This was not what I was told nor does the pictures do any justice. THIS IS THE PLACE TO BE!! Give 'em a chance – Today was our 3rd time going to Harwood 609 for lunch. The first time was a really good experience.The food was brought out promptly and the waiter was good. The salad / dessert bar were also nice. The second time was good as well, but the dessert bar had disappeared. Today was really awful, it was over crowded and we were told to have a seat at the bar. Another Try – I decided to revisit Harwood 609 because a friend thought we should give this establishment another try. The crowd size was okay, not crowded but okay. Our food was delivered slowly and my main entree wasn?t cooked all the way through. The management, Carmen was again very unprofessional, just rude and unfriendly; the experience wasn?t very positive. Aconcernreader – I read reviews to track the success of a businesses, and when reading some of these reviews concerning Harwood609 they come across as being more personal then anything. These seem like they are personal attacks on certain individuals . It is sad to see a race of people attack there own race rather than to inspire them to do better and be a success. Nice Place - Not So Nice Management – I believe in giving anyone a fair shake. At first glance the place seemed like it would be a place to go. The initial glance and setting are nice; some of the staff was nice, but most seemed to be unorganized and unseasoned. Can you say No.....Way! – The look of this place is very deceptive. Service is repulsive and the food not much better. Worst greeting EVER at the door, the staff appears to be clueless, which explains small handful of customers. Head Manager is named Carmen, where could possible have found this terrible person, with an equally bad attitude. WORST EVER – Atmosphere is very nice. Service is horrible and the food was worse than awful!!! Terrible greeting at the door and the staff seemed to be otherwise occupied even though there were only a handful of customers. The GM, Carmen, I believe should take a crash course in personality and customer service 101.
