needs improvement – It is sad to say but the management and staff really do need better training. Yes the place looks wonderful, but the service is HORRIBLE. 1st I made reservations at 6, when I got there they were still cleaning the restaurant. they were still mopping,sweeping and vacuuming. New in town – I am new in Oaklawn and had to see this place for myself. I must say it IS pretty! We had drinks here after work and really enjoyed the place. I heard alot of thinkgs about this jazz club, and have to tell you I was not dissapointed. We were not there for the live entertainment, but you can get a feel for what it could be like at night, it almost sizzeled .
People Please – I have visited this establishment and agree that there are a number of absolute needed improvements, MOSTLY with management, somewhat with service and then yes, with the drinks (selection/orders) and with the food. Most Upscale Impressive Night club – We attended a birthday party for one of our friends. The ambiance was awesome, the music was magnificent the valet was awesome and affordable. The service was impeccable and we had an excellent time. This is one of the best night clubs for a more mature crowd that we have ever been to in dallas. Te only thing missing was some reggae/dancehall music
Horrible Management!!! – I went to this place with a friend of mine. As soon as we walked in we noticed that we were almost the only people there other than the workers. Then we were rudely approached by the manager. There was no greeting, just stares which was weird. Maybe they were shocked to have customers and didnt know what to say. There is clearly someone out to get this great place – I came to Harwood 609's page to tell everyone what a great time I had last night and have to make an additional comment on one thing: Have you read the LONGGG reviews here where it seems one person is CLEARLY familiar with the owners and insists on taking out their personal rage on them? Overall Great Experience with One Disappointment – My fiancee and I attended this establishment for the first time on New Year?s Eve and were seated at table 6 up front on the right hand side of the dance floor. Unfortunately, I have to agree – The good part, great location, great ambiance, myself and friends were graciously greeted once we entered the club. Decor is appealing. Valet staff could be better informed. We had been out all night so we did not have an opportunity for dining. Best upscale jazz club in Downtown Dallas – This was our first time and very impress with the service. Robert was treated like a king for his 55th birthday and his guests were treated like the royal court. We enjoyed the food, drinks and the great customer service.
