Roach Infested and Unsanitary!! I used to work for this company.... and I just want to let everybody know that may be interested in going there... DON'T! The place is literally INFESTED with roaches... I wouldnt even eat there for FREE as an employee because the food in the back is left out over night for all kinds of creepy crawlies to have access to it.. they don't clean anything in the kitchen, the cooks all have dirty long fingernails and eat over the food they are cooking..and the bar is also infested with roaches... ro... read more

Thanks for Your 411 Wow!! I have read most of these comments and I am honestly scared I thought about checking out this establishment. I kept hearing about it on the radio on my way to work so I decided to check it out on line. What seems to be consistent with most of the comments is the service is BAD to AWFUL. And that's a shame. Could Have Been Better – I attended a bachelorette party there on Saturday ,November 13, 2010. Outside of the club is nice and so is the inside. Music was extremely loud and had to shout to talk to one another. D.J. was very good on selection of music and the crowd was great. Now, the food was not. I ordered a Jerk Chicken salad and it was not good at all. Place was hard to find even with gps. We were invited to a Sadie Hawkins party Saturday evening at the club. My date had a nice hat on. The female at the counter told him very rudely to take off his hat, it was not permitted as part of the dress code. We left not because of the dress code but her attitude. They lost two customers because of her. She should be in the back cutting up vegetables not dealing with customers

Music is wonderful but eat somewhere else first – My boyfriend and I went to this club on a friday night the music was great but they had nothing that we wanted on the menu several appetizers were unavailable and they had no hot water cornbread and the macaroni/cheese was terrible. I think that they should just stick to music and drinks

Author What a wonderful music (great band & dj) & dining experience. I was just at Harwood last night. The catfish was to die for and i learned a few new steps....Who knew there would be line dancing instructors. If you need something fun to do, make Harwood your next stop and ps: make sure to get an order of greens and mac-n-cheese...oh and try a green apple martini!..Lorraine

OMGoodness HOT Time! 7/23/2010 My Friend had a birthday party. The setting was nice, but when I got inside it was HOTTER in there than it was outside! So, you can imagine how awful dancing was. We would come off the dance floor DRENCHED with sweat like we'd been running in a marathon......Their excuse was the air condition has been being repaired for the last 2 weeks! Bland Experience A friend of mine suggested we try 609 Harwood for lunch today, 07/21/2010 for the fairly inexpensive lunch menu. It was my very first time there and had not read any of the reviews before going.The atmosphere is quietly tasteful, lunch menu surprisingly affordable and Wendy, our Server was pleasant and attentive. Ms. Bell My experience @ 609 Harwood was awful i just thought that it was a real jazz club, they played more oldies music than jazz music. To be honest it was not the experience i was hoping for the, food was terrible the waitress wasn't professional . I certainly want be going back to 609 Harwood anytime soon that's unless they change the cook ,wait staff and start playing more jazz music than oldies and don't get me wrong i like oldies but i thought that 609 Harwood was a jazz club .
