RecommendedEveryone that I came into contact with was very helpful and went above and beyond to make my stay as pleasant as could be under the circumstances. The Drs I had were wonderful and I could not have asked for better care.
Going to ER is never a fun experience but if you have to go, don't go anywhere else except HCA Clear Lake Regional. What a dynamic team of individuals that are on point from the minute you enter the facility. I had several small arteries cut and bleeding profusely when I arrived and was instantly taken to a room where everyone was ready to act. I would really like to acknowledge four extremely wonderful, Highly motivated, very driven, polite, and I could definitely keep on, on how wonderful these four employees have made my experience here more then just welcoming. They have gone above and beyond my expectations of a nurse and to still be able to manage all of the work they have and still have such a positive attitude and take a few mins to actually get to know their patients. This is a committed, caring group of professionals dedicated to providing world-class care to each patient. HCA Houston Healthcare Clear Lake is always searching for opportunities to enhance and improve the patient experience and I have personally experienced that excellence. During my recent stay, I could not have been more pleased and awed with the staff, nurses and doctors. Blessings to everyone, keep striving!
Clearly they do not follow Universal Precautions nor OSHA regulations. We are here in the ER. They placed my husband in a room and the bed has blood borne needles and EKG stickers from another patient on the bed. This is horrible. I spoke with the person that came into do the insurance and she stated she would speak to someone about getting it. Nothing has happened.
I have delivered all four of my children here. Recently I gave birth to baby number four and noticed a BIG improvement from the last time I gave birth here 6 years ago. What is most impressive to me was the support from the staff. Before there was not that sense of support from the staff with certain things, but now the nurses are very supportive especially when it comes to breastfeeding! They should practice what they preach in their mantra. The Flag on the FB cover says "Care Above All Else", but my experience is that you only receive care if it is convenient for the doctors and nurses to treat you. I have yet to have a doctor or nurse go out of their way to try and treat any of my conditions. I have been to this facility numerous times over the past 11 years, and have yet to have a good experience. This I believe is especially true if you are an obese person.
