My husband has been at this Hospital for 23 days and has been waiting to be transferred. The weekend nursing staff is less to be desired. They put my husband in a hard back chair because they were too lazy to move the chair so my poorly husband could sit in the recliner made for patients. All I hear are excuses on the weekends and it’s a crying shame. Never saw such a lazy staff full of excuses!!😡😡😡
RecommendedMy partner was released from Clear Lake Regional Hospital early this afternoon, after being there 3 days. His care team, Drs Jogi and DeWitt and his nurses on the 6th floor of the Heart Tower, specifically, Monika, Maria and Zoya were phenomonal. They were all extremely attentive and entirely professional. I would recommend them to everyone I know. Also thanks to the Nurse Leader, Cindy. Thank you all for your superior kindness, personal interaction and professionalism.
The nurses and drs at HCA Clear Lake were absolutely amazing!! Everyone from the nurses in the Pedi/PICU unit to surgical nurses, anesthesiologists and drs went above and beyond to make my 14 year olds first surgery and hospital stay as comfortable and fun as possible. Yes I said fun! They all knew exactly what to say when they could see fear creeping in to make him laugh and everyone always has a smile! Thank you HCA Clear Lake!!!
My 3 month old daughter stayed in the PICU for 3 weeks at Clear Lake Regional. She was diagnosed with a very serious condition and it was very traumatic and scary. From the moment the ambulance brought us to the hospital, the Pediatric ER was on their game. They took my daughters health very seriously, and within one hour of being there they diagnosed her correctly, started her on antibiotics, started our transfer to the PICU and essentially saved my daughters life! We were transferred here for a week long stay in the pediatric unit with my newborn and had a great experience. If either of my children ever need medical care again this will be our first stop. Wonderful staff and overall great experience. Highly recommend.
My 78 year old mother has COPD and pneumonia. We have been in the ER 15+ hours because the hospital is 100% full! I guess we are the lucky ones because we have a “room” in the ER. Several have been parked on a gurney in the hall for nearly as long! The staff has been very good, but this kind of overcrowding can’t be safe or healthy! I guess they will pile them up in the parking lot if they can collect a co-pay!
I had my baby here. My stay at this hospital was pleasant enough. However, I was never sent a bill for my stay. When I proactively called to follow-up on my bill, less than 60 days after my stay, I was told that it had been sent to collections. I know people that work in hospital billing and was advised that they should be able to call the bill back. Currently sitting in a disgusting ER waiting room hoping I don’t become ill due to the lack of sanitation at this hospital. My loved one has been in this disgusting waiting room for 3 1/2 hours waiting for test results and a nurse finally came in to tell her that they lost her bloodwork. LOST it! Unbelievable. So they had to re-draw blood and now the waiting in the disgusting waiting room goes on. Just had my baby delivered here, and it was such an amazing experience thanks to quite a few nurses and doctors. I wanna thank miss Emily (forgive me I forgot to ask her last name ), who was my delivery nurse and made me feel safe and confident through the entire process.
