It should been a total of 3 pair of glasses, but there was only 2 pair. Went to this doctor in September 2023 for a droopy eyelid causing vision issues - during the exam the doctor stated that i had dry eye (not related to the eyelid issue) - he stated that they can put in punctal plugs and it should help. He also stated that it is covered by my insurance. I felt confident that he knew what he was talking about so we proceeded to insert the plugs. The doctors in our practices recomment treatments that are the best course of action for the patient and treat their health conditions first. Beware. ***************. They added a Protection Plan to my bill. $35. I did not approve. I called the office many times to correct. The call center did a good job of taking information but the office never processed the work. Only after I cancelled the transaction through ***** did they call me. Too little too late.To me, it feels like a deceptive practice to rake in money from customers. They kept saying they would fix it but never did.

Our policy and process is that the Protection Plan offered to all patients is to be explained at the point of sale, as well as a sheet of paper explaining the details and limitations of the Protection Plan given to the patient along with their receipt. If zero stars were an option thats what I would award. The eye doctor was great the first year but the billing folks were a big hot mess. Finally I drove over to the office and paid my balance which I truly didnt owe because I have two policies for eye coverage. Ok paid anyway - all good? Nope. I went to *********** Clarkson ******** on 10/09/2023 they were hassling me about me owing $23.00 before I could have the eye exam. I paid the bill. I finally seen Dr. and he did a eye exam. He said that he could see why my eyes were bad. I initially went for a statement for my job. He recommended surgery. OMG. Never buy eyeglasses there. I was charged for one pair of glasses ****** then they sent me another bill for ******. When I pay the 349 I was told that was going to be the only amount I will pay for my glasses. Beside that went like three times because the measurements for my progressive lenses doesnt work. I recently visited the ***** location for an eye exam and new glasses. I don't have vision insurance and the experience cost me over $500 for two pair of glasses, one clear and one sunglasses. The part of the transaction that was so disturbing was the fact that they added $50 onto my total bill for the "eye wear protection plan".
