These people are trained to scam you! Be careful I got charged for 7 months after my membership was supposedly canceled. I came to the gym on Friday in April to cancel my membership, the employee told me that he canceled it and that the cancelation number would be sent to my email by Monday. LA Fitness personal training is terrible. I highly recommend you not to sign up they make sign a contract for a year and you cant cancel regardless of if you use the sessions they will continue charging after your contract date if you can't come in person to cancel, on top of that they can't issue any refunds if you can't come in person to cancel and all the sessions you paid for will expire in 30 days once you cancel the training too. If youre considering joining the ********** but dont sign up for their personal training program. Ill tell you why. Simply put, its not what they sell you at the table. They glorify the program and sell it as personalized, but there is nothing personalized about it. It is nowhere near what its supposed to be. The L.A. Fitness located on the corner of ********************** is an absolute joke?? At least twice a week they continue to open up late. This morning there was about 30 people in line at 5AM but they didn't open until around 5 to 10 minutes after. I have been a member for 30 years and have never seen anything like this??
LA Fitness has been ******************** in the ***** community for years. The fitness center finally received an upgrade and remodel. Unfortunately, during the later hours between 9pm and 10pm, young adolescences know there is no staff and begin to remove their shirts and begin lifting on the equipment. In addition to standing on benches, screaming, and recording. This experience really leaves a sour feel to a new facility. Please address this.
During Covid (back on March 2020) I called to cancel my membership. city Sport advised me to freeze the account and offer to waive the $10 monthly freezing fee. 27 months later, I realized that as they opened their place, they reactivated it again and changed me for 17 months a $10/mon fee. I never used the service due to health issues and luckily my card was decline a month ago which they reached out to me and I realized that they charge me for that. Ive been a long time member of la fitness. Now that its esporta, I have seen zero improvements. This place is dirty, the bathrooms are disgusting, machines are not well maintained, nothing is ever cleaned, the list goes on. When a machine is out of order, it doesnt get fixed for a month or longer. Weve lost some great machines in the switch from la to esporta and have gotten NO NEW EQUIPMENT. I've had to pay probably $60 to other gyms over the course of the last year just because randomly, esporta won't open or no employees ... read more
I work overnight shift. I get off work after a long shift finally fall asleep and La fitness esporta or whatever they call themselves these days called me four times in a row in a 3 minute span asking for my monthly dues. Woke me up out of my sleep. Completely unprofessional to call that many times in a short time span
