Absolutely appalling right from the beginning-considering this was supposed to my insurance company and the lady I was dealing with was from the get go had a condescending mannerism tone and it was down right rude. It took 2 months to get our claims adjuster to return our calls, emails. As a retired insurance broker, I was appalled by how Hanover handles claims. I'd get better service from a non standard carrier. If I have to threaten you with the insurance commissioner if you don't respond, you need to find another line of business. Worst claims service bar none. Btw, our claim, almost 3 months later, is still open & my husband's vehicle isn't repaired. I'm unable to requote with an open claim & were approaching renewal. I had the worst experience Ive ever had with an insurance company with Hanover. Someone reported an accident to Hanover without my knowledge. They apparently got my information through my plates because the only information they supplied was a picture of my vehicle. I told Hanover I had no knowledge of any accident and was involved in no accident. I further supplied them with details to show the impossibility of the alleged incident. Hanover Ins Codoes not make it easy to submit a claim against one of their insured policy holders. Call wait time is excessive, getting connected to a knowledgeable claims person and/or getting a call back would try the patience of a saint! Today was the last straw! I waited an entire day for a scheduled appt with an appraiser. Not only was he a no show but not even a phone call to inform me he wasnt coming! Now Im faced with the ordeal of contacting them again.
