I've never been treated so poorly in my life. Complete scam. Do not use this insurance company
My vehicle was involved in an accident while parked in a lot. Was hit by drunk driver along with a few other vehicles mine being the worst. Not able to drive. My car was 3 months old with less than 2400 miles. State Farm was mine and at fault insurance company. Accident happened on a Wednesday. I reported it that day. Police report not available till Friday. Tried to give info to State Farm through their app but didn’t go through. No one told me. By the following Wednesday when I heard nothing had to call and give info over ... read more
I was hit at a stop sign by someone that drove off. I got the vin number off the bumper they left and the police found out who the car belonged to and State Farm was their insurer. I called and filed a claim on the their insurance two days later. Shortly after I called to get the claim status and was told that the owners kids friend took the car from school where the owners kid had it and the friend took it without her knowing. I was told if she filed stolen vehicle report against the person that wrecked it that State Farm w... read more
Terrible. Worst experience I’ve had in a while. I will be getting different insurance as soon as I can. Customer service=terrible. Customer communication=terrible and frankly unfair. They told me I’m covered for commercial liability, and then drop me without even a call, and I see that as disrespectful. Lastly, they send me a bill after two weeks while I’m on vacation, only for it to be due before I return. All I received was an email stating I was past due(after two weeks!!). State Farm must not want any business.
A lady ran a red light at a turn as I was heading forward, we hit; the insurance made us both lay out as we were both at fault because they didn't want to fight (as both of us were covered by state farm). Then I hit a pothole during this unusually bad year and they refused to cover it because there was rust (which there was as a result of COVID (sitting unused for months) and the vast amounts of salt the city used this year. They told me to tow it to the shop, only to reject it twice, then had the nerve to tell me I have to ... read more
I recently got hit by a State Farm customer, I followed procedure and called 911. Then I the driver's license and insurance card. Unfortunately, State Farm insurance refuses to pay This is a corrupt company that refuses liability
My brief experience with State Farm is most concerning. First the "good neighbor" advertising is misleading and void of truth. Our car was truch by a neighbor who is insured by this company. The determination of negligence was made by this company PRIOR to Receiving photos of the incident. The insured driver admitted to causing the incident. The damage was to the vehicle. which a decent, respectable company accept the responsibility for its driver. Not State Farm! We simply wanted our car repaired. They insisted that thier i... read more
I had a car claim that took 15 weeks to Complete. They promised that the engine would be guaranteed for life, however 3 months later issues are popping up and they won’t cover it. Their adjusters are working from home and everything is virtual. We are a year into this pandemic and many people have returned to work life. They need to mask up and do what we are paying them for. I am soo frustrated that I need to call every other day and explain what THEY PROMISED. If I could give less than 1 star I would.

I don't usually leave reviews, but after the service I received from StateFarm after my accident I feel as though I need to share what I have been going through. I was with StateFarm for over five years up until last week, insuring two vehicles and my renter's policy. On December 17th, 2020 my vehicle was rear-ended by a School Bus in Central, LA. The at-fault party required me to sign a release of liability form before agreeing to authorize work to be done on my vehicle. I decided it would be in my best interest to file thr... read more
