If I could give zero stars I would. I am a victim in a straight forward accident with the fault being a State Farm customer. The police report is very clear that I have no fault in this event. It has been 6 full days since the accident, with numerous phone calls and messages to the assigned adjuster with no return call. As a single mom who has to work, I find it appalling that no one will speak to me or at least authorize a rental. State Farm has the policy of canceling policy holders of 22 years. It doesn't matter that you have been a customer for 22 years but a 16 year old has accident and they move to cancel. The say they are a good neighbor but don't listen to the agent who is the FACE of the company. They have no say in anything with State Farm just expected to be the face but never be a part of supporting the customer base. The underwriter decision to cancel does not involve the agent. Had a soft clog in my home that backed up into both bathrooms and laundry room and ruined walls and flooring due to possible bacterial growth. Home is torn up to remove those areas. Have been a customer of State Farm since the 1980's and they won't cover this? Any of it? I'm not understanding why we have home owner's insurance. This is a horrible company. Penny ******

Absolutely the worst insurance company I have ever delt with. Adjuster agreed to storm damage on a roof, 6 months Into claim to have the repair done correctly state farm decided their was no damage at all and refused to complete the repair and claim correctly. When asked no damage was found why did they pay out a claim in the first place, they had no actual answer just that there is nothing I could do about it should of taking it to court. STATE FARM IS A SCAM. State Farm issues homeowner policies in name only. Read the fine print, and you'll find that almost nothing is covered, and if it is, this company will do everything within its power to deny your claim or pay you a tiny percent of what you deserve. I've used State Farm for more than 20 years, and customer loyalty means absolutely nothing. Horrible experience. One of there customers rear ended me and it took over 3 months for them to get my claim settled and paid out. I had to basically hold their hand the whole way through the whole process. Rental company (not State Farm) called me in the middle of the day saying the rental was due back THAT day with no prior notice from State Farm. They sent me a prepaid envelope to send the title to my car into them and it had the wrong address on it resulting in the title getting lost. The only reason I even found that ou... read more

My wife’s vehicle was recently hit by a State Farm insured motorist. At the time of the incident, my wife did her very best to avoid an accident, but it was unavoidable. The gentleman received a citation for failure to maintain his lane, although state farm is only willing to cover 75% of the damages. I’ve been going back and forth with State Farm claims, but they are saying we need more evidence. Just got State Farm for the first time in my life and regret it same day i did.. haven’t been a month yet and i had To call back 5 (!) times to change the policy because they scammed me every time adding the things I never needed. Carmen (Karmen) was the rudest and I knowledgeable person i talked to, she even had guts to tell me to cancel my policy! I filed a claim for damage to my vehicle from a hit and run. I got the police report. I filed the claim and had a $250 deductible. State Farm had me take the car to a local shop that they recommended as "preferred shop". This shop gave me an estimate and timeline for what they could do to repair me vehicle. Great.
