I would like to add my experience to these negative reviews. I have had State Farm insurance since I was 16 years old, now almost 62. I have never missed a payment for homeowners or auto insurance. When I had water damage in my home last year, my agent Kurt *** directed me to a company to do the repairs. This company told me I had asbestos damage and ended up doing a huge amount of extremely costly repairs to my home, which ended up being a big pay out for them. Tried to get insurance on a 2002 Honda Accord and they tried to up charge me for a wreck in 2016 and I’ve only owned the car for 5 months. I brought this up and they said they recorded the call and that I’ve driven without insurance. Not to mention they wanted 400$ a month for liability. I own the car

I was insured with this company for 15+ years no accidents. I recently got into an accident, so now they wont renew my policy. What a joke! they suck you dry for that long but when you need help they will leave you high and dry when that renewal comes around. I never thought i would be in this situation as if i've been reckless with driving. We had car accidents last sunday 7/25 is not our fault and State Farm don’t want rent a car for my husband work ! Is ridiculous. Is worth insurance !

Honestly I wish reviews had negative Stars some representatives should not be allowed to handle or speak with Clients recently got off the phone with Allison in ********that did not know how to handle a call when asked to speak with a Supervisor she said she was not going to be able to do that.!!! Excuse me since when???!

Liars, dishonest, dragged claim out 7 months. Admitted that their departments are purposefully segregated to insure customers cannot get resolution if they have an issue with the way their claim is being handled. Was promised that my claim would be "expedited" due to the failure of their claims system which had me assigned to a claim officer that was no longer with the company. Worst insurance company! It is impossible to work with when you need them/file a claim. Customer service is rude, unprofessional. State Farm probably spent all their money on advertisements, because they are trying to avoid spending any pennies to do what they are supposed to do, which is helping their clients. Biggest insurance scam.

By far the worst customer service ever. A State Farm client hit my car and they accepted 50% liability. Even after their client offered to pay me cash on the scene. State Farm did not look at my vehicle, didn’t ask for photos or any information but expect me to accept 50% liability. The audacity! Months later I’m still going back and forth with them, regarding my claim. An agent told me that she doesn’t work for me and works for her client. These people are nasty and unprofessional. State Farm Insurance has been a Nightmare to work with. There support teams have all been friendly but nothing seemed to get done in a timely manner. My daughter got hit in a round-about and the other driver was sited but they still claimed a 90/10 Split. 90% them and 10 % us. Second the accident was about two and a half months ago and the car still hasn't been fixed. Reasons given is the couldn't get ahold of there insurance party.
