POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE! We hired a tree cutting service to cut down a tree and the tree landed on our home. We filed the claim the same day 4/5/2021. I, THE CUSTOMER, was the FIRST to make contact with State Farm since no one had followed up on the claim. I have called several times to my adjuster and the person managing the building claim and have received MINIMAL CONTACT. State Farm hires 3rd party adjusters to do homeowners insurance claims. They deny claims based off of no facts and also ask for evidence that debunks their claims and then refuse to review them. My house has been torn apart from ice damming for over two months and they are continuing to act in bad faith. Stay away from this company, they are not like a good neighbor. VERY POOR Customer Service! Tries to get out of Claims. NO Communication from State Farm! We have to Constantly call them. They Say they don't have the Documentation. Then they "FIND IT" We are SO Frustrated with State Farm!!!!

My wife and I purchased a home in *******in 2015/2016 timeframe and have been with Fred Hynes - State Farm for all of our insurance needs (multi-vehicle, home owners, etc.) this whole time. In 2018, a bad storm came through and ripped off shingles from a good portion of my roof. We submitted a claim and State Farm replaced our roof. In 2020, we had a downburst storm that snapped mine and multiple neighbors' privacy fences, rendering them useless. We submitted a claim. Taking advantage of a 96 year old , decorated World War II veteran!! Filed a hail claim on roof damage and they sent a rookie adjuster, who didn't know what she was looking at. My contractor has well over 25 years experience with state farm as an adjuster & supervisor, now in the roofing business. Was there for the inspection. She saw wear and tear, he saw hail damage. State Farm is the worst agency! I was with them for more than 5 years.. they will give you a few bucks off but even with a good credit score, good driving record and making payments they mess up on payments and cancel your policy and then jack it up!! Worst company! They have zero loyalty to their customers! ZERO!! The agents say they are helpful but won’t change rates!!! Horrible customer service. Do not return calls. Speak to customers in a demeaning way and have young kids reading a script instead of listening to what the customer has to say. Customer service is mot a priority with this company.

Like a bad neighbor State Farm is clearly not there is what State Farm slogan should say. That's evidence from the low claim estimate they are willing to payout which would not cover the full damages to my vehicle. I submitted two claims from 2 different Volkswagen dealerships and in each claim State Farm refuse to cover the full value of the damages to my vehicle. Meaning after I pay my $500 deductible I still have to come out of pocket with an addition $400 just to cover my damages. So what the ****do I have SF insurance f... read more

BUYERS BEWARE DO NOT GO WITH STATE FARM INSURANCE.
