What makes Chlöe so interesting is that with limited seats in the dining area, it's like eating in a family kitchen. The menu features pork chops and collard greens, chicken breast and banana bread pudding. What they've done is taken basic American dishes and spiced them up to bring out the flavors that make each of the delicacies appealing in the first place. The pork chop is stuffed with corn and bacon and then served over collards braised in port. The chicken breast is given a good rubdown with curry, garlic and papr... read more

outstanding food;pleasant atmosphere – I went with three friends on a Sat. eve. Our waiter was efficient and charming, the atmosphere was wonderful, and the food was outstanding. I will definitely be going back.
Small but Succulent – Unique menu with delicious food. This BYOB is the perfect for a date or a casual dinner in town. It's a no-frills BYOB, which means they can direct all their attention to the food and it is obvious that they do just that.
Just OK – I was excited after reading the reviews, but the food was just okay. I guess I was expecting more.
The Setting Destroys a Great Meal – O.K. The food was great. But, the setting destroys the meal. The restaurant is hot because the owners are too cheap to fix the air conditioner. My waiter was sweat-soaked from the even hotter kitchen. Also, the tables did not have tablecloths and we had to use paper napkins. That is just unacceptable when you pay around twenty dollars an entree. Finally, they did not serve espresso. This restaurant has been around long enough so that the owners could afford an espresso machine. If the owne... read more
Great food, paper napkins? – OK...so I may be pickier than most when it comes to dining out...bear with me!! The food was wonderful and creative, and yes, I would definitly return, but why would they use cheap paper napkins and have their wait staff in old jeans and tee shirts?? The prices are not cheap, nor are they outrageous, but for a restaurant that is trying to establish itself as better-than-average, the finer touch of a cloth napkin and a "cleaner" attired wait staffwould bring this restaurant up to scale. so-so – food was good, but way too overpriced!! ok here are the remianing 10 words
Wonderful! – Just moving here from San Francisco, I've been missing innovative dishes. This one delivered! Loved the menu and the specials. They use creative ingredients that I haven't seen here in Philly. I hope more places use this restaurant as an example of the way to do business! A little loud while dining but service was attentive.
Simply the Best – Chloe has to be my favorite BYOB in Philly. I can always count on a fabulous meal there and the waitstaff is helpful and very friendly. Try the mussels and you will not be disappointed.
do they do windows ? – If the people who own and operate Chloe can "do windows" only 10% as well as they can prepare food, leave your spouse and take them home with you. The food is simply the best, the service is at least as good, and the value is excellent. Try the "grilled ceaser salad" + + +. I have eaten all over the world for more then 40 years, and never had better. Life is good food, friends, and maybe clean windows.
Chloe has a 4.5 star rating with 126 reviews.
Chloe is closed now. It will open tomorrow at 5:00 p.m.
