What makes Chlöe so interesting is that with limited seats in the dining area, it's like eating in a family kitchen. The menu features pork chops and collard greens, chicken breast and banana bread pudding. What they've done is taken basic American dishes and spiced them up to bring out the flavors that make each of the delicacies appealing in the first place. The pork chop is stuffed with corn and bacon and then served over collards braised in port. The chicken breast is given a good rubdown with curry, garlic and papr... read more

Loved It – Cozy atmosphere, great service, and terrific food. I love restaurants like this, unpretentious, comfortable with a creative menu. I thoroughly enjoyed my grilled caesar salad, gnocchi and banana bread pudding.
GREAT VALUE – LORI AND I WERE IN TOWN FOR A LONG PRE-HOLIDAY WEEK-END. AFTER A LONG DAY OF SIGHTSEEING CHLOE'S WAS A WELCOMING OASIS. WITH CASH IN OUR POCKET AND A GREAT BOTTLE OF WINE FROM A NEARBY STORE WE SETTLED IN FOR A WONDERFUL DINNER, FEATURING GREAT SERVICE IN AN INTIMATE ATMOSPHERE. THE SWEET POTATOE SOUP, GNOCHI'S IN A LAMB-DUCK RAGOUT, CHLOE SALAD AND BASS (ONE CHILEAN AND ONE WILD STRIPED) WERE ALL TASTE TREATS. NO ROOM FOR DESSERT!
FOOD, FOOD, FOOD!! – My husband and I just ate at Chloe on a Friday night. At 8 pm we had a 45 minute wait, so we went to Charlie's on the corner and had a drink. The atmosphere is casual and homey, it was loud- but thats to be expected with a tiny BYOB. Our server was very friendly, quick with recommendations, and let us sit and enjoy our wine after our entrees (we weren't rushed at all). I had the house chloe salad and SeaBass, both we perfectly balanced in flavor and seasoning. My husband had the shrimp appetizer and Baby... read more
Good food. Paper napkins. Okay service. – The food was good and the atmosphere is nice. Details like paper napkins and not being asked or brought water and wait staff in t-shirts and jeans made me question if Chloe is worth the price. I can't stand paper napkins in restaraunts especially when I'm shelling out $20 or more on my entree. Overall I would recommend trying Chloe for yourself as the food was good.
Yum yum yum! – Easily among the best BYOBs in Philly, the widely varied menu was sooo tough to make choices on, as there were so many tasty things. The spinach salad with warm bacon dressing was not too original, but oh so tasty. The striped bass was superbly fresh and well prepared. The chowder was silky and full of flavor from the fresh oysters. Coffee was old and not good. Get better coffee! Oh, and the waiter wore awesome jeans and had a big package.. that was a plus.
Hard and Cold – After reading many glowing reviews, my wife and I decided to try Chloe out. I must say that the food was fantastic and the service very homey and friendly. The only crticism we have is that they pay attention to a few of the details. While I didn't mind the sparse decor, we found it a little hard and loud once the room filled. We also (unfortunately) decided to come in November and the restaurant was very, very cold. We'd return but not until the spring.
Great food, hate the wait – Been numerous times, the food was great on each occasion. Great value. Unfortunately no booking so waited a long time > 60 minutes for a table on one occasion.
SO GOOD! – This place is awesome!! Small but great!!! The food was so good, my husband and I savoured every morsel and it just melted in our mouths! Definitely recommend it to others!!!
Worth the hype – The food at Chloe lived up to the recommendations - much like other bistros, it's a bit cramped for space but the food and service made up for it -Tomato soup was solid, the Lamb skewers were excellent as was the salmon - best of all was the banana cake with cinnamon ice cream - on a Friday night we walked in at 8pm without reservations - casual more than dressy - an excellent BYOB
