A lot of money for a fast food restaurant – On the recommendation of a Philadelphia friend, my wife and I took my daughter and her husband to Chloe. We arrived early on Saturday night, and were seated a few minutes later at 6:20 p.m. when our group was complete. Top BYOB – Just a wonderful BYOB. Down-to-earth, but professional staff, great specials, reasonably priced- makes a really lovely evening. Have the grilled Caesar and dessert is a must have!
Wonderful food. – Great little bistro. Comfort food but with a twist. Only item I'd avoid was the grilled ceasar salad. I just don't think romaine stands up well to heat. The gnocci was fantastic - mouth watering little pillows of yumminess. Seafood dishes have all been superior. Don't skip dessert. There's also parking and a liquor store w/in a block or so. Go early or expect long waits on weekends as they don't take reservations.
consistently great – My boyfriend and i eat at Chloe fairly often and it is always really good. Big portions of awesome food- the lamb is my favorite- and the service is quick and friendly. We are never disappointed!
you win some, you lose some – The hostess complained to me about the other customers and held tables for people on the waiting list that were not there. I ordered a special of the day, which was a Butterfish with sauteed spinach, a tomato-crabmeat mix and slice of polenta. Went to Chloe on Sat. and had the best meal ever. My husband and I started with the prawns and Chloe salad. good to the last bite. Then we shared the foie gras torchon which was melt in your mouth. For entrees - BBQ Pork ribs & Tuna. (some of the ribs came home with us for lunch the next day) dessert was bread pudding with vanilla ice cream. The staff was friendly and helpful without being pushy. Can't wait to go back to our favorite new spot. Keep up the good work guys! And thank you!
first time reviewer... – I have always read the reviews in citysearch but never wrote my own - after my dinner at Chloe last night I felt compelled to write. the food was amazing - they put together a very unique menu (but not weird) and our server was so fun. we did not have to wait for a table - but even if there was a line - I would wait.
Offensive Approach to Customers – There were 3 tables open, and no one waiting, when we arrived. A host said that since our name wasn't on the wait list, we couldn't eat at Chloe's. This was strange considering they do not accept reservations. The "wait list" is some game they play; show up at some point in the night when the restaurant is full and put your name on a list.
