What makes Chlöe so interesting is that with limited seats in the dining area, it's like eating in a family kitchen. The menu features pork chops and collard greens, chicken breast and banana bread pudding. What they've done is taken basic American dishes and spiced them up to bring out the flavors that make each of the delicacies appealing in the first place. The pork chop is stuffed with corn and bacon and then served over collards braised in port. The chicken breast is given a good rubdown with curry, garlic and papr... read more

The Best – consistently supurb dining experience....attentive service, great food and fabulous dessert - the cheesecake and pumpkin ice cream are to die for. one of the best byo's in philly!!!!!
excellent BYOB – The food, service and overall experience exceded my high expectations. For starters, we ordered asparagus bundles the special, gnocci. Both were incredible, especially the perfect blend of meats in the gnocci. For main courses, we had the BBQ Ribs-INCREBDIBLE!! and the cheese ravioli, which was awesome in taste, but i felt there could have been a few more on the plate. The warm cheesecake slid down our throats. Highly recommended. My only complaint about the restaurant was the heat. The fact that it was a 95... read more
GREAT BYOB – I thought the food, service and overall experience was great, plus it's BYOB so you can enjoy a nice bottle of wine and not have to pay 2-3X retail. The only thing I would not recommend was the cesar salad. I was different. I had fish, halibut, I think, it was fantastic. Service is friendly. Our waitress was very "eclectic" but nice. Would recommend highly.
Lived up to its reputation! – I went there with my fiancee this past weekend, and it was amazing. THe hostess was ultra-friendly, especially considering it was a Saturday night and there was a long wait (which didn't end up being that long after all). We started off with the most delicious mussels I've had in all of Philadelphia (even more than Monk's). And then we had the ribs and the scallops. The ribs fell off the bone, and the scallops were in a great sauce. They were pretty big too. DEFINITELY worth the wait.
Best restaurant in Philly! – My parents come to visit me often and we always go to different places to eat. We all agree that Chloe is the best restaurant we have been to over the last four years. The food is amazing, the ambience great, and decor adorable. Every person I have recommended this place to has agreed and thanked me so much for the advice. You have to go here!!
Just another 10 minutes at Chloe – Went there for a date in the Fall on a Friday night. We were pleased when the host took our name and our bottle and poured us a glass of wine to drink while waiting outside. Nice touch. He assured us that space for two would open up in no more than 10 minutes. 20 minutes later I was assured with a smile that, again, room for 2 would open in just another 10 minutes. All the while we wathced in disbelief as other parties of varying sizes were seated before us. 45 minutes after putting our nam... read more
Cozy – I can't get enough of Philadelphia's numerous BYOB's, and Chloe is one of my favorites after just one visit. The menu is excellent, as you'd expect from the rating. The three dollar-sign price rating is a bit high, since most of the menu is in the high teens to low twenties. A blackboard at the rear of the restaurant tempts you with its list of desserts and the wait staff is very friendly. In the winter time, a poorly hung front entrance can let in a cold draft, so you might want to keep your coat with you at your tab... read more
Great Time – Ate at Chloe over the weekend. Waited about 45 min. for a table, and it was worth every minute. My boyfriends parents love this place, and now I see why. I had the best pork ribs ever, and plenty left over for lunch the next day. our waitress was really smart about the menu and she kept us laughing the whole time. My boyfriend had the potato soup with trufle oil. YUMMY!!! I think he's still dreaming about it, and the lamb skewers. Desserts to die for! All this and leftovers for about $68.00 . Can't wait to go ba... read more
Don't Bother – With so many restaurants in Philadelphia, why choose this one. We were expecting a pleasant dining experience after hearing and reading about this BYOB, but left with a bad taste in our mouths, literally. My wife and I tried Chloe the other night and both of us were terribly unimpressed. The food was mediocre and uninspired, especially for the price tag, the waitress was abysmal (haughty and abrasive), and the atmosphere was far from charming. Dining out is about the experience this one was definitely not wort... read more
