Very careing to children I would recommend any one who has a child and if they need to go to the hospital and in the southeast that's where I would recommend takeing your child. The staff and the doctors are second to none and the facility is very clean and the parking decks are well lit.
Sometimes the wait can be a bit long, but the care my child receives is worth it! Dr. Harmon was my pediatrician when I was younger and now he’s my daughter’s doctor. Super friendly, takes the time to really check your kid out, answers all questions; plus you can tell he truly enjoys what he does! All the nurses that work with him are very friendly as well. This week took my son to the ER because labs came back from his pediatrician very low. We were in a room within a few minutes of arriving. The nurses, CRNP, and doctors were amazing. Explained each step of the IV process to my 7 year old. The longest process was waiting for a room, which was not a big deal. We new the process of what was going on and nlknew he was in good hands. We love Dr. Lewis. She is so compassionate and caring. Scotlynn is always so happy to see her even when she's not feeling well.
Our 4 year old baby girl had a sudden, severe Staph infection, and was in a lot of pain. She wound up having to have surgery. Scared was not even the word for Mama and Daddy, but EVERY staff member that came in contact with us made our daughter feel like there wasn't a worry in the world. This was our first, and hopefully last, visit to Children's, but there are definitely special people working there. We're thankful for all of them! They're absolutely amazing!
Dr. Harmon is awesome!!! I am really pleased with my child’s appointment last week.
