In the early 1950's, mill worker Hysen Chelo purchased a piece of property as an investment. Hysen's four children thought that land investments were unwise and envisioned a restaurant on that site to support their growing families. Thus, Chelo's Hometown Bar & Grille was started in 1955. Always excellent food and good service too!! They have a good prime rib too only on Saturday nite... I like the Chelo’s on Post road in Warwick 😘
Great food, reasonably priced
If you are looking to unwind after a long day .. don’t go sit at the bar here. Just tried to sit down at the bar and have a late dinner and a drink and waited 5 minutes before we decided to get up and leave because no one came up to us. The bartenders were too busy talking rather than serving their guests... guess I should have known it would be bad service when the 8 hostess up front did not greet us either.
Nice people we sat at the bar the girl s were very nice
