In the early 1950's, mill worker Hysen Chelo purchased a piece of property as an investment. Hysen's four children thought that land investments were unwise and envisioned a restaurant on that site to support their growing families. Thus, Chelo's Hometown Bar & Grille was started in 1955. nice variety of menu choices with interesting seasonal offerings. my friend and I were very happy with the quality of our meal. Our server was exceptionsl in addressing my friends meal selection which was redone to perfection. outstanding food and service. warm and inviting atmosphere. all the staff were very friendly and welcoming. summing it up -- GREAT!!!!
