Please do not do banking with chase. They do not care about their customers. I called to report 3 transactions to the card services through the 1800 number. Since the people that work that sector are from another country they tend to have a thick accent. The person I spoke to had a very heavy accent and I do not think they understood what I was trying to explain. Instead of disputing 3 transactions they disputed only one. I've had several issues over the years and run-ins with incompetent staff. Today I have had enough. Chase, when you have had a customer for years, who deposits checks on a weekly basis, I think you should treat the customer more like a human being and less like an idiot. Recently I had an issue where someone accessed my account and took all my money to put on a pre paid visa in my name. Thankfully I got a low balance alert the same day and called the bank. They told me the transfer had already been held because it seemed suspicious. It's now 6 weeks later, I have been through numerous departments, been told to do numerous things, and I'm still waiting. Have had Chase Bank for over 5 years. Over the weekend some one I don't know deposited 4 payments into my checking account totaling $200. Then my account was locked. I had to work all weekend so I decided to take care of it on Monday. When I called Monday they said they were closing my account and I could never bank with them again. I have had a long year battling financial hardship due to divorce and custody battle. I was fighting for my kids and tried to do what I could for them. My previous customer service experience was disappointing to say the least. I have previously loved this bank and the excellent customer service over the years. Recently, however the customer service has been horrible. The representatives that I have spoken with have been rude and argumentative. They did not try to resolve my issue and didn’t seem to care that it wasn’t resolved. One representative I spoke with wouldn’t even give me information on how to file a complaint. I will be seeking to take my accounts elsewhere.
********This particular incident occurred at the "**** * ****** *** branch" But there indoor ATM machines are identical and are governed by the same Chase policy******** Stay away from the Atm's that are inside the bank! I have had 2 major issues with these machines in the past 12 months. I deposited $1420 cash into one today and it malfunctioned. It did not get credited to my account. Tried to transfer money through ***** through the Chase app so I can pay my rent and they locked my account I was instructed to call them through the app, as soon as I called them and verified my information with my Social account number and my name and date of birth they told me sorry sir you have to walk into a bank to verify this and provide two forms of identification.
