Chase has placed a hold on a check deposited to my business account that I believe exceeds the allowable time under federal banking regulations/law, even for a check that is a larger amount (as is this case). I'm a lawyer and have been a Chase customer with the same business account for 12 years. Chase has cleared larger deposits from the same paying bank and account that is the payor of this check now being held. Chase offered a $225 bonus for opening a checking account but refused to deposit funds stating I didnt use the coupon code that was not even provided on the email. After asking the rep multiple times where I could find the coupon code she stated I had to click the link but no code was provided. Complete false advertisement and they think its ok. After asking to speak to the manager she stated she is the executive manager which is ridiculous
Chase will not take you to your account information when you log in. Instead, you get a page full of advertisements for their other products and have the find the Account button to view balances.This happens every single time you log into your accounts.There is no way to avoid this other than use a different company. I'm switching back to using my ****** store card instead of the Chase card due to this.Please count this 1 star as really 0 stars.
I can't tell you the frustration I have had with Chase. I have spent HOURS trying to get a Chase business credit card but they won't let me because I have a SSN instead of an EIN. Everyone gives me a different answer. I have been routed and disconnected countless times to the point I finally gave up. On Tuesday April 5, 2022 I opened an account with Chase Bank and deposited $200. On Wednesday April 6 I transferred $9000.00 to my Chase acct.. on Thursday April 7 I'm locked out of my online account and when I call to inquire as to why, I get a very rude foreigner that I can't understand. My spouse and I have been banking with Chase since 2006 and I am very disappointed with the service I recently received. I legally changed my name in 2020 without any issue until I needed to submit bank statements for a mortgage application. Even though I had received a new debit card with my updated name and all correspondence had my updated name, apparently my statements have had my old name the whole time. I was persuaded to open a checking account with ***************** Bank @ the ******* location by one of the bankers. He then convinced me to close all my ***** ***** accounts and transfer all my finances to Chase Bank. This was in November of 2021. Great customer service at branch, but horrible banking experience. I have never worked so hard to make my own funds available. I deposited a check using mobile check load. The check was processed and cleared on 4/15 and was supposed to be available 4/20. I go to my mobile bank app on 4/20 and my account is restricted. I recently had someone commit fraud on my bank account. I have went to Chase bank 5 different time to resolve this issue. They have let some deposit checks into my account and withdraw all my money from my account with only an ID and DEBIT card. The people who committed the fraud spelled my name wrong and still took my money out. Still have yet to get my money back and it has been 2 WEEKS.
