Chase back 6 Years ago 2015 closed my checking account, and banned me, to this day I still don't know what I did wrong never overdraft or never had a dispute but all I want is a reason why I am banned from Chase.
Bought a product online. It never came. Got my money taken again because the investigation showed the seller said he sent it to my address. If they asked the shipping company it would not add up. Did not ask me for proof. I have emails. Not good investigation. I just want my $100 back
I believe that there is a very heavy bias of this company. People that are rating the company are coming from a very particularly negative experience and thus only people who are unsatisfied will leave a review. On 4 Jul 21, the entire balance on the July statement was paid (on line) before the due date of 5 Jul 21. I was promoted to pay $56.19 to avoid interest charges. On the August statement, there is a $31.53 interest charge. I called customer servive (which connected to an office in the Philippines), and was told by the representative that the interest pertained to the end of the billing cycle that is not included on the July statement. Account restricted, call the accounts manager , can’t get help told to speak to loss prevention. Spoke to loss prevention 6 times. 40 mins on hold each time minimum. Told to go the branch 3 times and 3 times told to call loss prevention. Communication by chase employees in the call center has been below average to be polite. Chase bank hasn’t provided world class service. It’s a shame but it feels like they don’t care. Do better chase !
I was using a brokerage account offered by Chase. I had some funds that was supposed to settle and available to withdraw by June 2nd. However, the Chase investment website didn't let me withdraw those funds from June 2nd to June 4th. I was entitled to those funds and I needed it. Not being able to withdraw it had caused losses to me in another matter. I called them to find out why they froze my funds well past the settlement date. As the other reviewers have stated this bank is run by liars and scammers. They allow you to open an account online only to put your money on restriction and close the account without any notice. I deposited $3500.00 cash into a checking account only for these crooks to close my account for suspicion of fraud. Why do they suspect fraud? Because I'm black? If that's the case why allow customers to open an account online?
It took weeks & weeks for them to work with my insurance to settle my car accident claim. It was 2020 during the Pandemic. Chase was counting on Fax machines and the US Mail for document delivery--including a paper check for the claim settlement. Very poor customer service.
