Really bad customer service. One of my card was held because of a wrong transaction classification as fraud. And I was not able to use it. I had to wait more than 1:30 minutes to talk to a customer rep. I sent 5 secure messages still nothing was done.
I have had this account for only 1 month and decided to open another account to have my direct deposits go into (both online accounts). However, without notifying me they closed the account my direct deposit was going to and sent it back to my employer. I have spoken to numerous of chase call center Representatives and they advised that there was nothing they can do. Entered by BBB Staff AF: June 22, I went through the drive through to deposit cash and get a sheet of checks. The next day, the money that was deposited was not in my account. I called June 23rd to inquire about the deposit and was told it was put in someone else's account. The bank said they were going to put the money back into my account. Opened a savings account based on an offer of $200 bonus if you put a minimum in for 90 days. Upon opening and trying to fund account I was unable to fund from Chase side. A rep told me due to risk that I had to link my funding account and initiate the transfer from that account. It took two days to fund the account after verifying the small deposits. JPMorgan Chase does not deserve a One Start. It is incredible how JPMorgan Chase treats a customer that has been doing business with them for more than 10 years. Since yesterday I have been trying to access my online account and is impossible. I spoke with more than 6 representatives and the last one hang up the call. I have used Chase Bank for over 20 years of my 38 years on Earth. I have had credit cards (still unfortunately do until the upcoming transfer clears) and multiple auto loans that have been paid in full. My most recent auto loan came to term in June of 2021. I have used chase bank for my ****** account , my account has charged several thousand in the last month , I cant get logged online called for help & they couldn't get me on line either to look at what charges have been made . I have never been so put off by a bank, and was told on the phone my card must be comprised ( no shit ) but no help to resolve it, I now have to drive 35 miles to get to a bank location to be certain this card is closed & any accounts I still have there are closed. The bank that is always trying to find a fee for you! I’m closing a business account with them due to all the problems I’ve had in my first year of using them. Then when I have problems and call, I get a foreign person 90% of the time that doesn’t speak that good of English and never get my problem fixed due to that reason!
I've been a customer of Chase since they bought my old bank many years ago. Recently I've moved to Iowa, a state that has no branches... anywhere. I also bank with ****. That's important later. I've recently had a legal name change.
