I’ve had Chase bank for about 10 years. I’ve never had any issues until about a year ago when they started charging me overdraft fees constantly. You have until 11PM to replace the money in your account, and I replace the money in time every time, but still get charged a fee. They took away the time stamps so you can’t prove what time you put money in your account. The customer service is the biggest joke nowadays. The bank in ******* *** **** ***** was rude and they don't care about costumer. After many years banking in same bank I prefer to go to different location. I am also thinking start my checking with different bank.
Sent a wire from inside the bank with wrong account number. Caught my mistake before closing and before wire was initiated. It was Friday and wasn’t to be sent till Monday. Due to drive time I couldn’t make it back to the branch before closing to change. I called and they gave me their corporate wire transfer line. After 3 hours on hold, was able to amend the wire with all relevant information. Monday morning wire sent to wrong account.
opened a dispute on a charge through chase online dispute center, few months later, all record of dispute vanishes from my account. i called chase and was told they are unable to locate the dispute because there system is having issues with disputes. then said they are unable to dispute again because its past 60 days. I am a 35 year client of JP Morgan Chase & Co. I have been with them so long my checking account #'s start with ******! I have money in the bank. I do not have NSF in my accounts. I have a credit rating in the 800's. I am a 70 year old, recently widow, who works with my Lenders to fund Hard money equity loan. I have a stellar reputation. This bank is full of scamers. I signed up for the Southwest credit card with Chase. When we signed up, we were told we would get a $200 statement credit after $500 in purchases. Fast forward six months later, they pulled a bait and switch. Now they say we had to spend $10,000 to get 50, 000 points. We have called them four times and supervisors refuse to speak with us. I am 74 years old. I live on a fixed income of less than $800 a month. I opened up a Chase checking account because they claim to give new account holders $250. (This is a lot of money to me) I had my direct deposit to go into my Chase Checking. To beat me out of the $250 Chase closed my account. Chase locked my online account due to what they considered suspicious activity. They can't or won't tell me what that activity was and they have no one available to unlock my account. I'm getting ready to leave for a vacation and was hoping to schedule bill payments. The only thing that customer service can help with after hours is telling you balance information it seems.
Borrower beware - mortgage closing guarantee is meaningless. Chase took over 100 days to close my loan, and is refusing to honor their 21 day closing guarantee. Go with a different lender
