They increased their daily account balance to waive the monthly fee to $2000 from $1500 a month which is ridiculous for a small business especially during covid, so we wanted to transfer our money to a new bank and close the account. They transferred over the $100 from our saving but not the thousands from our checking. Absolutely ridiculous customer service. They like to take advantage of people who are literally doing the best they can. I was told *AT THE ***** that if I overdraft my account but get it back to **** by 11pm eastern time, I wouldn't be charged a fee regardless of my balance. However, I did just that and got charged with over $120 in overdraft fees THAT I HAD COVERED. They gave me back $34 of that.
they print their check numbers too high up for a normal check reader to read, such as ******** who charges around $4 to cash it. So that the only place to cash it IS Chase bank, and then they charge a flat $10, to cash their own checks! Pretty sure that can not be legal, but I do not know what can be done to fight it.
Chase bank illegally held funds that I was legally entitled to, which was started on Sep't. 3,2021 and have still not been received to this date 11/-2/2021.Bank reps and the attorney that I am currently dealing with on another matter have al implied Chase had no grounds. I have been banking at Chase for many years. I have both my business account and all of my personal accounts at Chase. Today I learned Chase restricted my business account even though there is $17,000 in it. I found out because a creditor contacted me because his payment was declined. I called Chase to find out why my account is restricted and was not on hold for 58 minutes, then I was told the only department that could remove the restriction closed while I was on hold. Absolutely horrible customer service, the outsourcing of customer ******************** reps is a thorn at times, and the wait times are ridiculous. The customer service reps are not trained well and the constant switching from department to department needs to change. They have lost thousands of people to the lack of good customer service and it seems like they do not plan on changing it.
I have been with chase for years and they keep stealing money and or putting my checks on hold when they are supposed to be the bank and provide me with my funds. Straight garbage. I would give a 0 for how bad they ****
I was told at the branch office in Northern ********, that because of the confusion a $35 fee would be waived on a money transfer. The customer service agent showed that the fee was deleted. The fee appears on my last statement, and I call to let them know the charge was still on the books. The agent said the Computer would not let her delete the Fee? Whats my next move, as this has been a Frightful experience with Chase Bank!
