It's a hit or miss when dealing with the VA personnel. The nurses and doctors are ok, it's the front line personnel who are the issue. Their unprofessional attitude leaves me to believe that the only reason they got that job was because they know somebody who works there. There's no pride in what they do, no dignity and respect. It's as if we're a nuisance, even when you're in priority group one.
There's no wOrds to even describe the horrible care our vets get here at the VA in Temple Texas :/
Went to the Temple VA ER yesterday it was the fastest I've ever been seen at a VA facility. I was very happy with the service for the first time I was treated like a person not a problem
I have enjoyed the calming atmosphere of the women's clinic, but I was shocked to see all the children's furniture was removed from the clinic. I thought the VA was trying to move towards a family atmosphere. Now the VA is taking a step backwards. My granddaughter enjoyed the area, but now it's gone.
I drove from Amarillo Texas. When I got here I was in aahh about it. Everyone was ssssooo nice. The staff is OUTSTANDING!!!! FROM DAY ONE. I was there to see the Podiatrist. He was awesome Dr. Shibuya and Dr. Anderson both treated me like we had known each other for years. The facility was clean. It has color markers to direct you to clinics. I was able to have my pre op visit the next day. They accommodated me in every way. When I came for surgery they paid for a room. The next day was surgery. The OR staff was superb. AWES... read more
The staff always seems unable to provide services due to restrictions. Even if your literally, dying there will be a wait. I hate that this is my only care or treatment option.
Been using the VA Heaithcare System at Temple, TX and I'm fully satisfied for their services.
