April 16,2025, I took my vehicle for service at McElveen in Summerville S.C... The air and heat did not work. The cruise control button was stuck. Kassie said she would call me later that day and tell me what was found. I called her 5 days later because she did not contact. She explained that the work cost would be $3746.00. I spoke with her on Thursday, she said after test driving my vehicle, it was found that the steering pump needed to be replaced, and the new charge was $6500 total. I declined. This car dealer is non-professional and in my case they are acting like scammers. I took my car to fix in January 2024 the next day they told me it was ready to pick ***** they charged me $2,800 and they didn't give me my car until after I paid. Well, it turns out that they didn't fix it and they sent it back to the workshop. Since that time here, they haven't haunted my car and hung up my calls. This situation is very unfair! ?? help please!
There are some sales people there that are extremely shady you agree to buy a truck, have the PO, and by the time you get financing its suddenly gone, couldn't bother to hold it. Then they say have another that's identical, ok now i have to re-work all the loan info due to the truck changing but did that. Was told repeatedly it was identical, only to find out it didn't have all the features of the one I agreed to purchase in the first place. On February 6 I spent $1309 on new tires for my 2021 gmc ****** truck that only had ***** miles on it. I bought the truck off the lot in November 2020. Around February 1st my tire sensor lighted up and showed my right front tire was at 12 PSI. I aired up my tire 3 times and still showed my tire was low. This place sold me a vehicle. The experience was good, it's that service ***** Horrible from the start. The first contact resulted in my car being held for 30 days with me having to foot the bill for a rental. Mind you I was having my center console charging port changed. I had to nearly threaten them to release my car, and please note the charger still did not work. I went back on three other occasions to lean the charger they were putting in was not compatible. We agreed, bought the vehicle, and had it repaired at jimmy Smiths service department. Brought it home and found that coolant was still leaking. My wife called this morning and was told that the coolant leak was fixed and that there was nothing else they could do. Its obviously not repaired and I dont like how my wife was treated. This vehicle was sold with an 'as-is/safety' inspection meaning the dealership had already inspected it and found the issues at hand but would not be performing the total repair bill found by the service department. We completed the safety portion of the used vehicle inspection. Bad management & they pat up a new tire & sent me on twice...they act like they don't like some people. with lest than 2k miles on it.
